<br />
<span style="font-family: inherit;">This is the card Moriah and Judah and I created using some of the new <a href="http://www.inklipse.com/shop-2/">Simon Hurley stamps, stencils and inks,</a> along with some<a href="https://www.uniquelycreative.com.au/shop-scrapbooking-kits"> dies and adhesive pearls from Australian-owned company Uniquely Creative </a>for the perfect finishing touch. </span><br />
<br />

<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;">I'm pretty chuffed with the end results, and I don't just mean the finished card. An even prouder moment is when I ask Moriah what she learned along the way she can list of two or three new tricks and techniques that she picked up such as how to use a stencil, how to ink-blend, and how to 'scatter' those pearls for a balanced look. And when I ask Judah if he had fun he replies very emphatically "yes I did!!"</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;">So how cool is that?! </span></div>

Today we're highlighting <a href="http://shrsl.com/g7ou">Neat and Tangled</a> whom I'm lucky to be a designer for. I just love their cute and whimsical images mixed with the hand-lettered sentiments that spark joy every time I create with them!<br />

I made a set of two shaker tags, combining a few different products together (stamps, dies and sequins) but everything you see here comes from <a href="http://shrsl.com/g7ou">Neat and Tangled</a>. I'm going to be posting a video on my <a href="http://instagram.com/natalieelph">Instagram account</a> sharing the process behind creating these, so make sure you <a href="http://instagram.com/natalieelph">pop over there</a> to check it out! <br />

<br />
The angels and 'good news' sentiment come from the latest release stamp set called <a href="http://shrsl.com/18k7l">"Angel Wings"</a>, while the 'joy to the world' sentiment comes from an older set called <a href="http://shrsl.com/1ad88">"Art Deco"</a> which is a great all-round stamp set to add to your collection. <br />
The stars in the background is a really clever stamp called <a href="http://shrsl.com/1ad85">"Falling Stars"</a> which I've been using over and over this season. And the tags are cut with a die set called <a href="http://shrsl.com/gvn2">"Classic Tag 2"</a> which is one of my most-used dies ever! <br />

And the idea of a December journal of some kind (call it what you like!) is really appealing. When I saw the new <a href="http://jotmagazine.com/mood-board-december-2017/">Mood Board Challenge at Jot Magazine</a> it became just the push I needed to decorate the front cover of my December not-quite-a-Daily notebook. Here's how it turned out....<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg0u9xD7W3TnqtPtFzivwoNIiw4KUjtvUGlZTM0gLntpCG-fdAmk61V0GBo2XprNVfbsysXIWNM3-QvV93tx2P_zcmAAT-2MwWWdWM2KWSzPxYGc5283VHbmrA6vxT0mq_jbM6hJuoqFIsO/s1600/December-Daily-cover.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1000" data-original-width="1000" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg0u9xD7W3TnqtPtFzivwoNIiw4KUjtvUGlZTM0gLntpCG-fdAmk61V0GBo2XprNVfbsysXIWNM3-QvV93tx2P_zcmAAT-2MwWWdWM2KWSzPxYGc5283VHbmrA6vxT0mq_jbM6hJuoqFIsO/s640/December-Daily-cover.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
As you can see, I took my inspiration mainly from the image in the top left. In fact, the notebook itself actually started off white, but I covered it in brown paper (just like those packages) and made sure I included a bit of string for good measure. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjjM2KKUtgK450ADul9daW5ddFo2eKMHDthwFmR1ZGfxfauEQFxbN7AYNhPAVeKb3VqH4vB3QGP3hWkYPx7KPjnt-Cy51G0vQvok63Yu7ymGFTp8zhv4LZQv7sHB0LsqO0fYuhbfAMd7sGj/s1600/December+Mood+Board.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="685" data-original-width="480" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjjM2KKUtgK450ADul9daW5ddFo2eKMHDthwFmR1ZGfxfauEQFxbN7AYNhPAVeKb3VqH4vB3QGP3hWkYPx7KPjnt-Cy51G0vQvok63Yu7ymGFTp8zhv4LZQv7sHB0LsqO0fYuhbfAMd7sGj/s640/December+Mood+Board.jpg" width="448" /></a></div>
<br />
I mixed and matched some of my <a href="https://www.sizzix.co.uk/catalog?crumb=&product_or_project=434&tag_product_line=705&tag_theme=133">holiday-themed Sizzix dies</a> to create the iconic car carrying a Christmas tree. I added a bit of an Aussie spin on things by using the <a href="https://www.spotlightstores.com/craft-hobbies/paper-craft/embellishments/sizzix-thinlits-coastal-off-road-die-set/p/BP80416608">Coastal Off Road die</a> for my car. This is from one of the sets that <a href="https://www.spotlightstores.com/craft-hobbies/paper-craft/c/paper-craft?sort=40&pageSize=40&q=%3Arelevance%3Abrand%3Asizzix#">Sizzix Lifestyle have released exclusively to the Australian and New Zealand market through Spotlight</a> and they all feature summery and beachy themed shapes which of course is just perfectly timed! (Also... Spotlight happen to have them all on SALE at the moment too. <a href="https://www.spotlightstores.com/craft-hobbies/paper-craft/c/paper-craft?sort=40&pageSize=40&q=%3Arelevance%3Abrand%3Asizzix#">Check them out here</a>!!) <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh_6BgsokrkZ5oeqE9uidqFxccz89KanePJvct2XLM0CBwT-cp95ZVAsT8HvobGecx1txDkp-yE-Iaw52220BDkYWXKdCmyWDV_pm5_4nZmSckLGIljB_z5Be5OU3yFy49ncj20e7uu128O/s1600/Dec-Daily-cover-deatail-1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="667" data-original-width="1000" height="426" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh_6BgsokrkZ5oeqE9uidqFxccz89KanePJvct2XLM0CBwT-cp95ZVAsT8HvobGecx1txDkp-yE-Iaw52220BDkYWXKdCmyWDV_pm5_4nZmSckLGIljB_z5Be5OU3yFy49ncj20e7uu128O/s640/Dec-Daily-cover-deatail-1.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
The Christmas tree is from an older Sizzix set which is sadly no longer available, but I'm fairly confident that anyone who has been papercrafting for any amount of time has some kind of Christmas tree stamp or die or paper they could cut out! Right?! <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiCjGu937roITaUwsKpkbc2u7CwpY3wXkolmTx198dr-khkOUzTKkkilovBDYrm0tdF62O6BUJHaAiCN6v8bQcDi7WyvlkDqr2i10IloCZdP9gL_Lr7aYrWO4SNaM7327yNMpILItopkbIP/s1600/Dec-Daily-cover-deatail-2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="667" data-original-width="1000" height="426" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiCjGu937roITaUwsKpkbc2u7CwpY3wXkolmTx198dr-khkOUzTKkkilovBDYrm0tdF62O6BUJHaAiCN6v8bQcDi7WyvlkDqr2i10IloCZdP9gL_Lr7aYrWO4SNaM7327yNMpILItopkbIP/s640/Dec-Daily-cover-deatail-2.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>

Anyway, that's what I created using the Mood Board as inspiration. Where does it lead you?<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiiky9Nyl6VPmoXdhbbxhHAE5YpxIL2aZn7RPlLskbs-bO1T7lhMlGTDTAln4laFenuyxbUUa899BuiofOgU4b5GT0DOStEYLjqbjKg7Hgi_66uOeQXnaYHYD1r-K_bqY3JRb-TheBTHIiM/s1600/IBS-Everyday-Magic-by-Natalie-Elphinstone.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="800" data-original-width="800" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiiky9Nyl6VPmoXdhbbxhHAE5YpxIL2aZn7RPlLskbs-bO1T7lhMlGTDTAln4laFenuyxbUUa899BuiofOgU4b5GT0DOStEYLjqbjKg7Hgi_66uOeQXnaYHYD1r-K_bqY3JRb-TheBTHIiM/s640/IBS-Everyday-Magic-by-Natalie-Elphinstone.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
In actual fact, the day itself slipped away from me before I even had time to catch my breath and think about making a card (one of those days!), but I followed along with the celebrations on social media, especially all the posts from <a href="http://www.simonsaysstampblog.com/blog/happy-world-card-making-day-from-simon-says-stamp/">Simon Says Stamp!</a>, and as soon as I had a chance I ran to my craft room and whipped up this set of simple but cute cards. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhQU-9oWe6lHXSa-X35pOn-wE4cMomAsZAonVDhQ9fJ9voo9IPyiXIDawydO89LTMtfRigEbCCK6W2SHNibfaovia4-Q5lGyOpl3-58Ao3lzWR2De_jonvjE1gL879bRro6ieNH0ZGrTxi8/s1600/IBS-Everyday-Magic-Card-1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="667" data-original-width="1000" height="426" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhQU-9oWe6lHXSa-X35pOn-wE4cMomAsZAonVDhQ9fJ9voo9IPyiXIDawydO89LTMtfRigEbCCK6W2SHNibfaovia4-Q5lGyOpl3-58Ao3lzWR2De_jonvjE1gL879bRro6ieNH0ZGrTxi8/s640/IBS-Everyday-Magic-Card-1.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
I say simple, because I had already coloured all these fun images from the <a href="http://inkblotshop.blogspot.com.au/2017/08/castle-times-4x6-clear-stamp-set.html">'Castle Times' stamp set by Ink Blot Shop</a> on another occasion, so I only had to make a background for them and assemble the cards together. But that still counts doesn't it?! LOL! <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhRgU6At6w15it5gXtw_IAtnMadtXeI2g64dsSldQGvrSzcdrCzN4movP1azaI0T-7EX5EV_hAhYzDq3iYqnTBBa9B-cbDhtEMWlfJQ43cs_qiGZVfeUiPxGQXuMs4_YOm4HDm9Sp80LXOX/s1600/IBS-Everyday-Magic-Card-2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="667" data-original-width="1000" height="426" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhRgU6At6w15it5gXtw_IAtnMadtXeI2g64dsSldQGvrSzcdrCzN4movP1azaI0T-7EX5EV_hAhYzDq3iYqnTBBa9B-cbDhtEMWlfJQ43cs_qiGZVfeUiPxGQXuMs4_YOm4HDm9Sp80LXOX/s640/IBS-Everyday-Magic-Card-2.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
I chose to pair the images with some sentiments from the <a href="http://shrsl.com/jo18">'Everyday Magic' stamp set from Studio Calico</a> - embossing them with gold glitter to fit with the magical fairy tale kind of theme I've got going on here. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjpxUiUMTZlz47sO-DwragEidCEatIWV3nkSXPyPygJd4prEz3XBdsuzmEmQES3vhba2KJCn5MUUQFWmGMK7CS8wGJXg-pCiEDedtNd8wpVONSTAevBvV5oHNEQj31C8Fha0zALLAlgFbSw/s1600/IBS-Everyday-Magic-detail.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="667" data-original-width="1000" height="426" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjpxUiUMTZlz47sO-DwragEidCEatIWV3nkSXPyPygJd4prEz3XBdsuzmEmQES3vhba2KJCn5MUUQFWmGMK7CS8wGJXg-pCiEDedtNd8wpVONSTAevBvV5oHNEQj31C8Fha0zALLAlgFbSw/s640/IBS-Everyday-Magic-detail.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>

It totally makes me think of Spring, and creating this card had me feeling very happy!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhMNS-2pZe-0-miUXehDG_9bBJBlvqvqOhoTWNT7F7xIJOn93imKFRE-AnWq-30yTA-kUSskEnSwxkbH5JefP1UMqcfcC182RQWtr3EbmvMrlAG9WgdfGOLXhqZhg_hYBemg4xmgUIrqkNN/s1600/Awesome-Card-by-Natalie-Elphinstone.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="742" data-original-width="1000" height="474" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhMNS-2pZe-0-miUXehDG_9bBJBlvqvqOhoTWNT7F7xIJOn93imKFRE-AnWq-30yTA-kUSskEnSwxkbH5JefP1UMqcfcC182RQWtr3EbmvMrlAG9WgdfGOLXhqZhg_hYBemg4xmgUIrqkNN/s640/Awesome-Card-by-Natalie-Elphinstone.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
Here's a look at the Mood Board. It's so soft and bright and airy isn't it? <br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgKF67Udv11nwAqu7rWuJUqzvfHl7N1PJknkU55ygbWKT2ZUOe7FWo12rZeinXKbmMOvNPTnIE2M9EEH_XADdDMWPCw3ZaW5tcS8_IwVWhmlXSsJyao1s4wBFPzuO9CyPnnsesXZ994pM1r/s1600/October+Mood+Board.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1000" data-original-width="700" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgKF67Udv11nwAqu7rWuJUqzvfHl7N1PJknkU55ygbWKT2ZUOe7FWo12rZeinXKbmMOvNPTnIE2M9EEH_XADdDMWPCw3ZaW5tcS8_IwVWhmlXSsJyao1s4wBFPzuO9CyPnnsesXZ994pM1r/s640/October+Mood+Board.jpg" width="448" /></a></div>
I was immediately drawn to the illustration of the little bird amongst the giant flowers and thought that recreating something similar on a card could be quite fun. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh3Bd9AKjtcWwZMoi8LmBWNJEeKjyq2RKSCnti-pHM3pR1GNthfhi_vAYY-vvueootjWg7_xVGSGyXlcLA8cCGCkrMW93zsYWu-PWv7tXITYqvOuc-BoxVzR2r5qvetUbGQNgCiDVxSBjeN/s1600/Awesome-detail-1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="667" data-original-width="1000" height="426" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh3Bd9AKjtcWwZMoi8LmBWNJEeKjyq2RKSCnti-pHM3pR1GNthfhi_vAYY-vvueootjWg7_xVGSGyXlcLA8cCGCkrMW93zsYWu-PWv7tXITYqvOuc-BoxVzR2r5qvetUbGQNgCiDVxSBjeN/s640/Awesome-detail-1.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
But instead of just keeping the flowers flat, and having painted colours behind them, I took my inspiration from all the natural textures represented in the mood board and used wool felt instead. It was easy to cut the felt into these tiny little shapes with the help of my hole punch and some metal dies! <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjB1lfc3RgnYGRY8tmE6pAae50oBJE0pbFmBBUpnCJKY4N4lIA3ShQQMrd6FDVTHKYJvv_BzmxOZuHP0PiZ-tedemf2ClU12n-Yv-msfQAVF3zC14zI53JzqkQpPpI_gR6cIdE-Ii4H_gYj/s1600/Awesome-detail-2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="667" data-original-width="1000" height="426" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjB1lfc3RgnYGRY8tmE6pAae50oBJE0pbFmBBUpnCJKY4N4lIA3ShQQMrd6FDVTHKYJvv_BzmxOZuHP0PiZ-tedemf2ClU12n-Yv-msfQAVF3zC14zI53JzqkQpPpI_gR6cIdE-Ii4H_gYj/s640/Awesome-detail-2.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>

This card features a combination of different products from the release, but the main images and sentiment all come from the <a href="http://shrsl.com/g7ou">'Get Yeti' stamp set</a>. The only images that don't are the presents, they're from the <a href="http://shrsl.com/g7ou">'Fa La Llama' stamp set</a>. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi9uRYRq55Lxo-rWonnM1-duDSvXz5l3FdZJPWNZqyCOTV40ESrEm8I7_3wMCfG2Yh2wu_-ERK2sYNueoso7FrBsufruLjlYr07TiaXUG1_Zxijky-Ue_FsxsdKI_GoQ9wFOYzSec4wUOED/s1600/Reindogs-detail-1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="745" data-original-width="1000" height="476" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi9uRYRq55Lxo-rWonnM1-duDSvXz5l3FdZJPWNZqyCOTV40ESrEm8I7_3wMCfG2Yh2wu_-ERK2sYNueoso7FrBsufruLjlYr07TiaXUG1_Zxijky-Ue_FsxsdKI_GoQ9wFOYzSec4wUOED/s640/Reindogs-detail-1.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
And in the background I've used the <a href="http://shrsl.com/g7ou">'Falling Circles' coverplate die</a> to create my own stencil (just from scrap cardstock) and sponged some light blue/aqua ink through it to make it look like a bit like it's snowing. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjBHl6oyEBm3TckE9KTb9Qt6a4g9BrTIXRfMCCaXGHARsHMeFwcV-hVTRLs4eySw4T4FlZh1GBeK0b2B127ugcpe99f02jr44tlzm9onIUfs0MCPFk-pkTWLSin7WxNwDSW3OJOre_pEwFk/s1600/Reindogs-detail-2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="745" data-original-width="1000" height="476" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjBHl6oyEBm3TckE9KTb9Qt6a4g9BrTIXRfMCCaXGHARsHMeFwcV-hVTRLs4eySw4T4FlZh1GBeK0b2B127ugcpe99f02jr44tlzm9onIUfs0MCPFk-pkTWLSin7WxNwDSW3OJOre_pEwFk/s640/Reindogs-detail-2.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
If you would like to see ALL the new release products up close and in 'real life', I've put together a video that walks you through everything. I had Moriah and Judah help me.. which made it really.... fun! You can see that on the <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JHGsOpRh9kM">Neat and Tangled YouTube channel HERE</a>. <br />

Today we're shining the spotlight on the "Fa La Llama" stamp set and it's matching dies. Here's the card I made with this super-cute set!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEijZCvGntNKkmekdygoB67psm8S_v5LpwBSoM5yaoFFAE3ablZmUNA6u2zApSOZeJC0LTZOM3V9qRsiAYBfF7p05_y_UKZpShRGpEteZJuTvcfwKQlpUsdZZPKWmlAjOkS3cXBFUdRJTHi6/s1600/Fa-La-Llama-by-Natalie-Elphinstone.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1287" data-original-width="1000" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEijZCvGntNKkmekdygoB67psm8S_v5LpwBSoM5yaoFFAE3ablZmUNA6u2zApSOZeJC0LTZOM3V9qRsiAYBfF7p05_y_UKZpShRGpEteZJuTvcfwKQlpUsdZZPKWmlAjOkS3cXBFUdRJTHi6/s640/Fa-La-Llama-by-Natalie-Elphinstone.jpg" width="496" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<br />
For a 3x4" stamp set, this one really packs a punch. It's got so many fun elements in it apart from just the main image of the llama, and I've used all of them for my card. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjLVG7MFczk7HlY9vEdfN4vPkaz8dhqTiSJS8nt6tV6BvgQ-JxuBCE-LFBSVyETmvo7lnXwb9Xvf_fVBSiwYUmljc1N7_2mRrmV3ycM6aIsV8NHynFMGg6vH3VOAC7QqC0QqypBEDhapvNJ/s1600/falallama-01.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="905" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjLVG7MFczk7HlY9vEdfN4vPkaz8dhqTiSJS8nt6tV6BvgQ-JxuBCE-LFBSVyETmvo7lnXwb9Xvf_fVBSiwYUmljc1N7_2mRrmV3ycM6aIsV8NHynFMGg6vH3VOAC7QqC0QqypBEDhapvNJ/s640/falallama-01.jpg" width="360" /></a></div>
<br />
I love that the scarf ends come separately so you can place them where you'd like! And the squiggly little stars for background details are perfect. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhTFAquTKOj-u1AtYRHi-jifAKipXgpEUHc3a_wvYo0JsLIfhQcUcgl9GYJtgyaJ00zm0KdhoFKIZwzokydby6jYi3kfvEpDDWp09K7yDYQQYrJm5mc2G4ooSk6DflNEvLUS5F7PSOLvdLl/s1600/Fa-La-Llama-detail-2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="745" data-original-width="1000" height="476" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhTFAquTKOj-u1AtYRHi-jifAKipXgpEUHc3a_wvYo0JsLIfhQcUcgl9GYJtgyaJ00zm0KdhoFKIZwzokydby6jYi3kfvEpDDWp09K7yDYQQYrJm5mc2G4ooSk6DflNEvLUS5F7PSOLvdLl/s640/Fa-La-Llama-detail-2.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
And of course, don't get me started on how cute the sentiment is!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiqHMLX3YTEPwVPQXWJ3dsGAWI_AWW6MLZO7-uPhZ_8jpu26a0bJ__jb5ai3eJXZKEkwMcR26qaE-tunl7rPHnlljqxeABAY3Zl_KkOlQPsU2lUvgGiantx80eWgm_7C38CbVrPF_gn8UZ5/s1600/Fa-La-Llama-detail-1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="745" data-original-width="1000" height="476" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiqHMLX3YTEPwVPQXWJ3dsGAWI_AWW6MLZO7-uPhZ_8jpu26a0bJ__jb5ai3eJXZKEkwMcR26qaE-tunl7rPHnlljqxeABAY3Zl_KkOlQPsU2lUvgGiantx80eWgm_7C38CbVrPF_gn8UZ5/s640/Fa-La-Llama-detail-1.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
I used the Jewel Tones sequins from this months' relase to add the finishing touch to my festive card. I strung them onto some gold thread and hung them across the top, a bit like fairy lights or a garland. So fun! <br />
<br />

Today we're showcasing four different products, and I used three of them on this card...<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj8lBRZ5lPsf3udUHFooPkgCVRjh9R-zRrhoefQJvSwK4nFMM1KvhTDB_eRjYXVy_6eE9uhrJ5PwgRGCtTqgKK2CPhHWshGjwmgr_phuOM28qeyD9rudsZnGGFE_LW_dB5Vvir1hHzYYqqk/s1600/Winter-by-Natalie-Elphinstone.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1036" data-original-width="1000" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj8lBRZ5lPsf3udUHFooPkgCVRjh9R-zRrhoefQJvSwK4nFMM1KvhTDB_eRjYXVy_6eE9uhrJ5PwgRGCtTqgKK2CPhHWshGjwmgr_phuOM28qeyD9rudsZnGGFE_LW_dB5Vvir1hHzYYqqk/s640/Winter-by-Natalie-Elphinstone.jpg" width="616" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<br />
So what we're focusing on today is the "Winter" stamp set, it's matching dies, "Jewel Tones" sequins and the "Backdrop" stamp.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiXNWdXwbhisFYQcBrSlGHO1ATgycRQDaYhmbtLGdJvh9n225caV8IqfiHcdtS-7tl8xrwkVUKsCKPXFefKEmortH3Z2e6ejibWeDnV0dfRk1lKroGagDGGIqvx2WdDZh4qmUnWhJVqW-O9/s1600/Day-3-release.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="944" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiXNWdXwbhisFYQcBrSlGHO1ATgycRQDaYhmbtLGdJvh9n225caV8IqfiHcdtS-7tl8xrwkVUKsCKPXFefKEmortH3Z2e6ejibWeDnV0dfRk1lKroGagDGGIqvx2WdDZh4qmUnWhJVqW-O9/s640/Day-3-release.jpg" width="376" /></a></div>
<br />
I especially love the "Winter" stamp set because of that big sentiment. Those 5 lines are in one block, and although you could always cut it up or mask off different segments if you prefer, I really like the idea of being able to stamp it as a big bold statement! <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhpwZyTBcXqM7AYPZF5dJLqJRA2ZqrX8jwV9o0lrLf9xvPEk41POB0jDGiIMx5rmFJMOH_6qmAs-1XDX4Lm3n9M_EMqX808f4nRi7629qpTfy-7Evv4PTnJ86VNoHk8RvCAjuFjbypRAXRx/s1600/Winter-detail-1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="745" data-original-width="1000" height="476" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhpwZyTBcXqM7AYPZF5dJLqJRA2ZqrX8jwV9o0lrLf9xvPEk41POB0jDGiIMx5rmFJMOH_6qmAs-1XDX4Lm3n9M_EMqX808f4nRi7629qpTfy-7Evv4PTnJ86VNoHk8RvCAjuFjbypRAXRx/s640/Winter-detail-1.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
I think this would make the perfect stamp for when you need to mass produce some holiday cards - one image stamped and you're practically done! <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh3Lhsj5SSD6oMH9mSTxMsIFvXnmUYcbNFdgtZ4i03aAvoZqrXPIgDtg0eZzIcdBlotZJTVJ2F0zS3vDIZFgh1-IsQsOIRsaO42bKGsop-_YI55ybyvbFqdccUjSKXe2jqGLwzDUqiNTcki/s1600/Winter-detail-2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="745" data-original-width="1000" height="476" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh3Lhsj5SSD6oMH9mSTxMsIFvXnmUYcbNFdgtZ4i03aAvoZqrXPIgDtg0eZzIcdBlotZJTVJ2F0zS3vDIZFgh1-IsQsOIRsaO42bKGsop-_YI55ybyvbFqdccUjSKXe2jqGLwzDUqiNTcki/s640/Winter-detail-2.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
I finished my card by using the "Winter" dies to cut out the title. Multiple layers of white cardstock stuck together for the word, and reflective silver card for the shadow effect. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhn3_Ut5hmGvN52SthWjaxMHEOztKJso-yJcshZUlqxXC4pY0RPtr4G6Eusa8G4vhqR7lw0_i7soJZnXStYvGb3HPj515qWXnvLNId-ro1UJuln2y39NTD8D2eB7bUfWY4MRIpxqO3sCuUW/s1600/Snowman-by-Natalie-Elphinstone.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1036" data-original-width="1000" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhn3_Ut5hmGvN52SthWjaxMHEOztKJso-yJcshZUlqxXC4pY0RPtr4G6Eusa8G4vhqR7lw0_i7soJZnXStYvGb3HPj515qWXnvLNId-ro1UJuln2y39NTD8D2eB7bUfWY4MRIpxqO3sCuUW/s640/Snowman-by-Natalie-Elphinstone.jpg" width="616" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<br />
Now, if you were wondering about the value of the 3x4" Backdrop stamp then I can assure you there are so many ways you can use this. I've used it in probably the most simplest of ways for this card - I really did use it as a backdrop! LOL! <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjQFClh3b3tKGwdLpDBZIU92h-5Nd-cdci5YYuzJqxOnbEv-hLIED6fuhsC4xEw5XjAWTsBtkkbzhS0NHMPZlLNxuUR3hM9VmyvjI8xNldaPYelaH1L9WqgPXRT5TZBPxQeJhADbWal-Sh-/s1600/Snowman-detail-1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="745" data-original-width="1000" height="476" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjQFClh3b3tKGwdLpDBZIU92h-5Nd-cdci5YYuzJqxOnbEv-hLIED6fuhsC4xEw5XjAWTsBtkkbzhS0NHMPZlLNxuUR3hM9VmyvjI8xNldaPYelaH1L9WqgPXRT5TZBPxQeJhADbWal-Sh-/s640/Snowman-detail-1.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
I first stamped the solid image in blue Distress Oxide ink, and then swiped my green Distress Oxide ink pad over the stamp in sections and stamped it again. It gives a subtle two-toned effect which is a bit fun. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhbJ8et6hP7qnpGpfD7ce4Q41U7QoTVCAALNZTsSj6T8LSmzZY3aLB_-4QJiOCFlkN5ZJmi4TjEA-TC449aL74S7ycXgkeTjTidqCTCoORO0tuY35H7TCjx0a_piQqjlcGGsJhGdXYjvLCT/s1600/Snowman-detail-2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="745" data-original-width="1000" height="476" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhbJ8et6hP7qnpGpfD7ce4Q41U7QoTVCAALNZTsSj6T8LSmzZY3aLB_-4QJiOCFlkN5ZJmi4TjEA-TC449aL74S7ycXgkeTjTidqCTCoORO0tuY35H7TCjx0a_piQqjlcGGsJhGdXYjvLCT/s640/Snowman-detail-2.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
I finished the background with silver embossed snowflakes from the "Winter" stamp set, and sprinkled on the Jewel Tones sequins too. The snowman and sentiment come from the "Get Yeti" stamp set that we featured on Day 1. <br />

Today we're showcasing the adorable "Get Yeti" stamp set and matching dies! Here's the card I made...<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgxezjDkT8qFTP0VEFqgaENPtcnanb6wJ8dhdR8Tr0bMUTa52OHP6tgumFVgOc7Aj_19HmR_bhr1pT4W_Dyuo_qFqcaPzloPgRb37xRF4MZ-7Xqp7E_HAYxoqaWhhGmirGmCOiwQFN9fKEN/s1600/Yeti-Christmas-by-Natalie-Elphinstone.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1036" data-original-width="1000" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgxezjDkT8qFTP0VEFqgaENPtcnanb6wJ8dhdR8Tr0bMUTa52OHP6tgumFVgOc7Aj_19HmR_bhr1pT4W_Dyuo_qFqcaPzloPgRb37xRF4MZ-7Xqp7E_HAYxoqaWhhGmirGmCOiwQFN9fKEN/s640/Yeti-Christmas-by-Natalie-Elphinstone.jpg" width="616" /></a></div>
<br />
Now obviously I had to let the Yeti take centre-stage, but with so many other images in this stamp set to choose from, I had a hard time narrowing down who his friends should be! I actually stamped and coloured all of them and then played around until I settled on the little penguin and the snowman.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgRnbe4aGyxdnXyxp4lN9GhmjGiAzYPo5OQR-9z95S5prHZscZ_1Tvr13GLcvlFKbLfC3os82yXqWYbeK5kNHHDlxPsm_I7pjq_eWxhUr3Rbb8uvaU_B2owpUsFMMzkehEj1SctITjEtSWb/s1600/getyeti-01.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="878" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgRnbe4aGyxdnXyxp4lN9GhmjGiAzYPo5OQR-9z95S5prHZscZ_1Tvr13GLcvlFKbLfC3os82yXqWYbeK5kNHHDlxPsm_I7pjq_eWxhUr3Rbb8uvaU_B2owpUsFMMzkehEj1SctITjEtSWb/s640/getyeti-01.jpg" width="350" /></a></div>

<br />
I used black embossing powder on watercolour paper to create all the images, and then used a combination of different inks to colour them in - that included Zig Clean Colour Brush pens, Distress Oxide inks, and my <a href="http://shrsl.com/a2lh">Color Theory dye inks from Studio Calico</a>. All those mediums but I stuck to this fairly minimal colour scheme!! LOL! <br />

<br />
There are a couple of sentiment options in this set, and I heat embossed one of them with white to complete this little snowy/frosty scene.<br />

But towards the end of my pregnancy I clearly thought I should remedy that and purposefully took a few. I was able to then fit them all onto one page in Shiloh's baby album!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgECd3ReZDGbY-5AVEBnyFD-hi4a-u8fd0mxHH3XrbumCZrb7_qV4QCRXf3QgfRjZHcVvL23_9FfAoXTZarnADfStQEdUn6LmxqMb3L7i4S5m4LnPag1728efufxju7ovBZH9XC6bFOCN4x/s1600/Pregnancy-Spread.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1226" data-original-width="1001" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgECd3ReZDGbY-5AVEBnyFD-hi4a-u8fd0mxHH3XrbumCZrb7_qV4QCRXf3QgfRjZHcVvL23_9FfAoXTZarnADfStQEdUn6LmxqMb3L7i4S5m4LnPag1728efufxju7ovBZH9XC6bFOCN4x/s640/Pregnancy-Spread.jpg" width="522" /></a></div>
<br />
I used a combination of ready-made cards from <a href="http://shrsl.com/cfxx">older Studio Calico Documenter kits</a>, as well as a couple of cards I made myself from scraps of paper and a few embellishments. It was just the right balance of keeping the spread quick and simple, as well as still being a bit creative. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiwgW5UYXpMbCFV8InA2G4R5zP7SdimisxVhCt_0qvIA7aPJax4mws4CUQ28GWIThGwPiKb8axJaGWk4CIeuQ4IU7gswijVikWAtbfqS6OaiTKfAp_oNWJ15wXtPIMceI4SzsdCr-obccdg/s1600/Pregnancy-spread-detail-1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="667" data-original-width="1000" height="426" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiwgW5UYXpMbCFV8InA2G4R5zP7SdimisxVhCt_0qvIA7aPJax4mws4CUQ28GWIThGwPiKb8axJaGWk4CIeuQ4IU7gswijVikWAtbfqS6OaiTKfAp_oNWJ15wXtPIMceI4SzsdCr-obccdg/s640/Pregnancy-spread-detail-1.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
Oh, and of course, I needed to leave plenty of space for some journaling!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhvrJmFzz9vOyqvVIw0Sx3DcOAXKjcis9PRy0EwJextNPC0aCRa2HVpuACw8SMEJDBFNY6GRNNJ4Npr3VEh7ocjfWUKbfuAAtnL9C46_bcU_AxXsu_kEDeli_YhToRMJ-SbcQUllkugJDk_/s1600/Pregnancy-spread-detail-2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="667" data-original-width="1000" height="426" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhvrJmFzz9vOyqvVIw0Sx3DcOAXKjcis9PRy0EwJextNPC0aCRa2HVpuACw8SMEJDBFNY6GRNNJ4Npr3VEh7ocjfWUKbfuAAtnL9C46_bcU_AxXsu_kEDeli_YhToRMJ-SbcQUllkugJDk_/s640/Pregnancy-spread-detail-2.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
Keeping the album as chronological as possible (at least at this stage!) I then went on to create this page about the day she was born. <br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhcBIfGrhyphenhyphenjGcZ9dU8xskgE18V6s1SRBTephtybGfX3cTf5nHLhGQzX0Iqsqi55JIiVyA9_MKwluP5xlI8SPy1Adq3XGpK6GE4AktwzYoID1_EMkfGF72zhyphenhyphenkRtdEyMTzToNhsL9yfhTosy/s1600/Birth-spread.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1229" data-original-width="1001" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhcBIfGrhyphenhyphenjGcZ9dU8xskgE18V6s1SRBTephtybGfX3cTf5nHLhGQzX0Iqsqi55JIiVyA9_MKwluP5xlI8SPy1Adq3XGpK6GE4AktwzYoID1_EMkfGF72zhyphenhyphenkRtdEyMTzToNhsL9yfhTosy/s640/Birth-spread.jpg" width="520" /></a></div>
<br />
I started with some photos of the creative talents of my two eldest daughters as it related to my labour. Moriah made me a "happy pushing" card, and Bethany drew this fabulous picture of how she imagined the birth to go! They both made me laugh so much I needed to document their efforts!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhvNEaljDd3QO5ukhO_CaWkX6o0kxdli_Y1-fl-nIHHpQaDGZ8m1TzX8Xmr3hB252VpEpq4xXiN5_vJJKKBo0OkbRJX8rC9L7QBt-IQ7f7s3vrbFW8qTi6stmL3y8DbystlLmEcRwPUaXpi/s1600/Birth-spread-detail-1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="667" data-original-width="1000" height="426" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhvNEaljDd3QO5ukhO_CaWkX6o0kxdli_Y1-fl-nIHHpQaDGZ8m1TzX8Xmr3hB252VpEpq4xXiN5_vJJKKBo0OkbRJX8rC9L7QBt-IQ7f7s3vrbFW8qTi6stmL3y8DbystlLmEcRwPUaXpi/s640/Birth-spread-detail-1.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
That middle picture of me with the funny smile? That's totally in the middle of labour!<br />
And then the more genuine smile of relief and amazement and love as I'm holding our new baby for the first time :-)<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg8IgpfYTlD1b80n72O2rrW_2jDz-82A0eBqqkUOje32gGUmQHuGUHVF2Aw1Mp_qrdBCiRF4YGAiR6MowUn4ra_JlDin7H9pjpgLMh5iK0gQRbGgdPVFB9YrH8Ey05G99a9ponSFtT3Trj1/s1600/Birth-spread-detail-2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="667" data-original-width="1000" height="426" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg8IgpfYTlD1b80n72O2rrW_2jDz-82A0eBqqkUOje32gGUmQHuGUHVF2Aw1Mp_qrdBCiRF4YGAiR6MowUn4ra_JlDin7H9pjpgLMh5iK0gQRbGgdPVFB9YrH8Ey05G99a9ponSFtT3Trj1/s640/Birth-spread-detail-2.jpg" width="640" /></a> </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
So happy I'm getting these memories documented whilst they're still fairly new in my head!</div>

I totally had to Google it!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjZamfxQkP8w1KAr4AgNqS6K64rI5uFEQBHAIz6S0OTMh3-g993aT3bPfauMei9uruNveSBpdKEb1Iip6NpYk3cuY8ad5NStwf6N7uu4d_VGMytMp7ld0OB31BqepdD2gmmvDtcFTumvDID/s1600/May-double-page.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="815" data-original-width="1600" height="324" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjZamfxQkP8w1KAr4AgNqS6K64rI5uFEQBHAIz6S0OTMh3-g993aT3bPfauMei9uruNveSBpdKEb1Iip6NpYk3cuY8ad5NStwf6N7uu4d_VGMytMp7ld0OB31BqepdD2gmmvDtcFTumvDID/s640/May-double-page.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
And once I knew, I actually didn't think I'd have any reason to use it. But then I caught sight of this picture of my dirt-covered snotty-nosed little Judah-bug and knew I'd found the perfect place to put it!!<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj40QiNuH53jcxKP26Ku0HAfbxKZvbSLKWUBFrOL5EJ5hNt0ZkuAIfR9KIdNAD-I8OcPZ4t4mmWEzJErAVyy0iCrvTk17O4oH3bz_4UAzSB5q_uHydhhSnO8_xB1zvkYRloLu7uee1KcabE/s1600/May-detail-3.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="667" data-original-width="1000" height="426" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj40QiNuH53jcxKP26Ku0HAfbxKZvbSLKWUBFrOL5EJ5hNt0ZkuAIfR9KIdNAD-I8OcPZ4t4mmWEzJErAVyy0iCrvTk17O4oH3bz_4UAzSB5q_uHydhhSnO8_xB1zvkYRloLu7uee1KcabE/s640/May-detail-3.jpg" width="640" /></a><br />
<br />
For the record, there was also a #wcw in the packet as well... and despite using up quite a few of the other pieces on this spread I couldn't quite pretend to be that hip and use it as well! <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh2sbyMa_6ufY4F4oXog3YPT3QZRAabuUf2d-PJj9dq-VPQvx8AfqVo2p81W3uHYZP0-Yptf6UwoN2hT4fUwKOItH1oCvoOeowUCwMwSUAMko7eRob8q7p1ki_HL_7A5PJefXXsBWZuy-n3/s1600/May-detail-2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="667" data-original-width="1000" height="426" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh2sbyMa_6ufY4F4oXog3YPT3QZRAabuUf2d-PJj9dq-VPQvx8AfqVo2p81W3uHYZP0-Yptf6UwoN2hT4fUwKOItH1oCvoOeowUCwMwSUAMko7eRob8q7p1ki_HL_7A5PJefXXsBWZuy-n3/s640/May-detail-2.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
Most of the cards and other embellishments on this spread though actually come from the <a href="http://shrsl.com/k3sr">May Documenter kit from Studio Calico called 'Alfresco'</a>. It's such a favourite of mine. I have completely and utterly fallen in love with their kits again the last few months.. they keep getting better and better! <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEickZgCNVYnQXq_lQfZ5VrwYy1LJ2Gs4eBPr9di7wzanW6KPKNYCPiTtgRiyDN8Q6VUqhw_gE3oas6nsvzkPbLyPRh_jljEX7bBIKF4HAxjxGAZ1iFLxCEhO9O6bRRFpD-fKzjGojb5qTfV/s1600/May-detail-4.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="667" data-original-width="1000" height="426" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEickZgCNVYnQXq_lQfZ5VrwYy1LJ2Gs4eBPr9di7wzanW6KPKNYCPiTtgRiyDN8Q6VUqhw_gE3oas6nsvzkPbLyPRh_jljEX7bBIKF4HAxjxGAZ1iFLxCEhO9O6bRRFpD-fKzjGojb5qTfV/s640/May-detail-4.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
Oh yeah.... in case you're wondering what's in that bulging little envelope? It's totally all of Moriah's baby teeth!! <br />
Why do we feel the need to keep these things?! LOL!<br />

<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjYnhEJyC1JFqJyQjXTMabOiT5DG6_LuQ-xmnK5_5WRfBZInT94rWxleVCZynzrD9ZQjPHCL8br-2lqchxXt5V9RG85WbzKd_9eNwEwVunqHVEPQLgmKCtss8YL5W1plYBOfNq_pemWm7Cz/s1600/Sept+bundle.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="768" data-original-width="1024" height="480" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjYnhEJyC1JFqJyQjXTMabOiT5DG6_LuQ-xmnK5_5WRfBZInT94rWxleVCZynzrD9ZQjPHCL8br-2lqchxXt5V9RG85WbzKd_9eNwEwVunqHVEPQLgmKCtss8YL5W1plYBOfNq_pemWm7Cz/s640/Sept+bundle.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
I used the cute foxes from the <a href="http://shrsl.com/jtto">Merry Kisses stamp set</a>, and their <a href="http://shrsl.com/jttn">matching dies</a> as the focal point on this card. But instead of the traditional orange or red colour for the foxes, I thought I would turn them into Arctic foxes by keeping them a grey and white colour. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjY-Fl0lZJm4fB9JFXF1RNsNgTJvyI3s4nnFt2xwHYZtr-zlk55Bs5HqoIeUaT6j049j8_vjldFsCuYxAlUmn_xvHD9hIRgurbh4eR5FeYC3SmkvqUvqogycUJ484lQ0EIcQ13vc99ruBwF/s1600/Warmest-Wishes-by-Natalie-Elphinstone.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="767" data-original-width="1000" height="490" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjY-Fl0lZJm4fB9JFXF1RNsNgTJvyI3s4nnFt2xwHYZtr-zlk55Bs5HqoIeUaT6j049j8_vjldFsCuYxAlUmn_xvHD9hIRgurbh4eR5FeYC3SmkvqUvqogycUJ484lQ0EIcQ13vc99ruBwF/s640/Warmest-Wishes-by-Natalie-Elphinstone.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
It matched my idea of using the <a href="http://shrsl.com/jttr">Landscapes stencil</a> to create snowdrifts. I used some texture paste and sprinkled superfine white glitter all over the top of it. The set of two stencils are the inverse of each other so it allows for some fun tricks, and I sponged on some blue ink into the gaps. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg7DQN5WWns-jBZviVgr00FkHz03dTlaVI08y6L8Xf4JJ27mtM7GAhq69TCeV_dZ5bCa5g1dpG2ZMo27owDjnDk3ei2R86zmr9KO8zXrhDD-bsOM-CoJZ22bkKDiD-vRfzh-05r7xnVSbi8/s1600/Warmest-Wishes-detail.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="745" data-original-width="1000" height="476" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg7DQN5WWns-jBZviVgr00FkHz03dTlaVI08y6L8Xf4JJ27mtM7GAhq69TCeV_dZ5bCa5g1dpG2ZMo27owDjnDk3ei2R86zmr9KO8zXrhDD-bsOM-CoJZ22bkKDiD-vRfzh-05r7xnVSbi8/s640/Warmest-Wishes-detail.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
The second time I used my <a href="http://shrsl.com/jttr">Landscapes stencils</a> I made more of a country wheatfields kind of look by stamping the <a href="http://shrsl.com/jtts">Landscapes Textures</a> through it in a variety of orange and yellow tones. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

I also turned the <a href="http://shrsl.com/jttq">Oak Leaf die</a> into a tree instead, and used this card as my Father's Day card!! My dad is a farmer so it made sense in my eyes ;-) <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiE_YzYbcVF_kgZ8UnHgljh6OfPi_wkFYjJTT388vsvxCtstP0KkWuo-LU3j00xrK-892hKfMQwTXTnH8IrpS2j2ULGQvit7FfTMH9d5k3J93W3aJdfbonElPReFOszztxKSRu-c1Fcyavm/s1600/Party-invitations-2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="782" data-original-width="1000" height="500" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiE_YzYbcVF_kgZ8UnHgljh6OfPi_wkFYjJTT388vsvxCtstP0KkWuo-LU3j00xrK-892hKfMQwTXTnH8IrpS2j2ULGQvit7FfTMH9d5k3J93W3aJdfbonElPReFOszztxKSRu-c1Fcyavm/s640/Party-invitations-2.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
Also this month at <a href="http://shrsl.com/gd4f">Neat and Tangled</a> we have been partnering with <a href="https://benziedesign.com/">Benzie Design</a> who make the most luscious felt. I got rather practical by starting work on Moriah's birthday invitations already (it's actually not until November, but it feels good to be organised!) using the <a href="http://shrsl.com/i21d">Magical Day stamp set</a>. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhrKWats2mcQ24SfugskcExrhqi6nRcK0UT6DK2iHabON78_SMF0xflboB2ckyID-upezPjtF3BIXcSIWHbhKvwThiZ0yBd8UG4X9aUMKRdxsUO23gicHsf1VWArjVE_bFt0VW-F8sA2gTe/s1600/Moriah-unicorn-1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1366" data-original-width="1000" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhrKWats2mcQ24SfugskcExrhqi6nRcK0UT6DK2iHabON78_SMF0xflboB2ckyID-upezPjtF3BIXcSIWHbhKvwThiZ0yBd8UG4X9aUMKRdxsUO23gicHsf1VWArjVE_bFt0VW-F8sA2gTe/s640/Moriah-unicorn-1.jpg" width="468" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
Inspired by the unicorn theme I used the Benzie felt to create a headdress she can wear to the party! I have more details and even a video tutorial on how to make these up on the <a href="http://neatandtangled.blogspot.com.au/2017/09/n-benzie-design-collaboration-day-1.html">Neat and Tangled blog HERE</a>.<br />
<br />
And you can find all the <a href="http://shrsl.com/g7ou">new release stamps, dies, stencils and sequins in the shop HERE</a>. <br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

PS. I'm giving away a Magical Day stamp set on my Instagram account this weekend. You can <a href="http://instagram.com/natalieelph">find me HERE. </a><br />

It began with our first baby. Not knowing her sex and therefore having double the options of names, we were finding it hard. One day I opened the Name Book at a random page and stuck my finger out with my eyes closed. "We're going to call the baby.... Tikvah!" I exclaimed as I read what I was pointing at.<br />
<br />
And so it stuck. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi1gs8LKFtoxjKEPTtQXih1uyl4741PxAWFSt6ps2Qm9X9HNuelEDYch_qf_ZZO0jibQ8df_zpLyHnVdRzwWtwiUyzp8GT4j3nTpShK-oj49_Sti5IwDX5qQyeIJqs9zVbHxwz78zw4NKd7/s1600/Letters-to-Tikvah.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="667" data-original-width="1000" height="426" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi1gs8LKFtoxjKEPTtQXih1uyl4741PxAWFSt6ps2Qm9X9HNuelEDYch_qf_ZZO0jibQ8df_zpLyHnVdRzwWtwiUyzp8GT4j3nTpShK-oj49_Sti5IwDX5qQyeIJqs9zVbHxwz78zw4NKd7/s640/Letters-to-Tikvah.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
Moriah became Tikvah II, Judah was Tikvah III and Shiloh was called Tikvah IV.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjqiCHQI0dpA_zVqudJPP9GvTG5hCs26Sz-TmJiionCyPNXlud5xqOSXP9sDaLLvHEQaBVwxH-DN6RjEZ9mchd17dnOgjWfGwVlCF_xLlkhevOE7dZNqWx3JZIiH5_2_Xsa9dKBmlIWND8y/s1600/Letters-to-Tikvah-detail-1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="667" data-original-width="1000" height="426" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjqiCHQI0dpA_zVqudJPP9GvTG5hCs26Sz-TmJiionCyPNXlud5xqOSXP9sDaLLvHEQaBVwxH-DN6RjEZ9mchd17dnOgjWfGwVlCF_xLlkhevOE7dZNqWx3JZIiH5_2_Xsa9dKBmlIWND8y/s640/Letters-to-Tikvah-detail-1.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
I started creating Shiloh's baby album whilst I was still pregnant, and one of the things I wanted to do was to get the other kids to contribute. I asked each of them to write her a letter - welcoming her to the family, detailing some hopes they have for the future, and whatever else they wanted to include. Judah was less than 2 at the time so his is more like a bunch of scribbles... but I love it just the same!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj5Ce79D07s1di1a1odlwSECRk9jnlLnoj2rTvogQmnZFuB7vcUJQXbyfXtlkThZ7-LGclsCBZYbMvYknL6MHnyFj-Wu760_8pUIKWQsuWjOyXQLe-P3dUApqXJHHKmSQoZSdP15D-viDLJ/s1600/Letters-to-Tikvah-detail-2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="667" data-original-width="1000" height="426" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj5Ce79D07s1di1a1odlwSECRk9jnlLnoj2rTvogQmnZFuB7vcUJQXbyfXtlkThZ7-LGclsCBZYbMvYknL6MHnyFj-Wu760_8pUIKWQsuWjOyXQLe-P3dUApqXJHHKmSQoZSdP15D-viDLJ/s640/Letters-to-Tikvah-detail-2.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
I tucked each letter into a little pocket, and this became the first page in her baby album.<br />
It makes me happy! <br />

After all.... I do love coffee! But I haven't found the opportunity before now.<br />
<br />
Yay! Yesterday I coordinated a 2 year old and a 2 month old's naps and I got some time to craft!! <br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhIlFA2jrVyBue-9V-1sw6KlC7OroVMlA7BqGo_LgkoMXcnISULzwvgPH7-eIHgrxxdAW3G-WNGcCZtUuFaHw5Kb8zlrTty-od1kriW90QoIdakblHMrpH4Iji3eGmk6Iy_HsuricS9L430/s1600/Fall+Coffee+Lovers+Blog+Hop.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="800" data-original-width="800" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhIlFA2jrVyBue-9V-1sw6KlC7OroVMlA7BqGo_LgkoMXcnISULzwvgPH7-eIHgrxxdAW3G-WNGcCZtUuFaHw5Kb8zlrTty-od1kriW90QoIdakblHMrpH4Iji3eGmk6Iy_HsuricS9L430/s640/Fall+Coffee+Lovers+Blog+Hop.jpeg" width="640" /></a></div>
The theme (apart from coffee... or tea... or cocoa) is Fall and so I started by deciding on an appropriate colour scheme and then went from there. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEijQiIVH00cPuFZFSQRysM62BA1eiG_2tfkBg1YTTmF4hnzyAiHbgD5II8zWy8WqMuqRSDCIwWsV3DNBNz8nLzOJmPJ5bWEWZN4LTQcHh2XI9po8XxMC_5giCBB4vEObhKcBRaq1DiKThu_/s1600/Coffee-Card-square.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1000" data-original-width="1000" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEijQiIVH00cPuFZFSQRysM62BA1eiG_2tfkBg1YTTmF4hnzyAiHbgD5II8zWy8WqMuqRSDCIwWsV3DNBNz8nLzOJmPJ5bWEWZN4LTQcHh2XI9po8XxMC_5giCBB4vEObhKcBRaq1DiKThu_/s640/Coffee-Card-square.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
I recently bought a new 6x6" stencil which I wanted to try out. It's called <a href="http://shrsl.com/k1ki">Buffalo Plaid by Carta Bella</a> and I <a href="http://shrsl.com/k1ki">got mine HERE</a>. I can see lots of possibilities with this and it was really fun to use! So that became the background for my card. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhBAVdk86FP2P3EWlC6W9905Nlii7djGba_6v6k-MNRyf0Hu5RNxjZwKszLiCsRcIMcmQ96337OSAKtY9IXDrtZLtU2ZLZKgmAxSthtYE0BYJviP7q5l9wOTGHkkLeDS69nOE-KqPfJMCKR/s1600/Coffee-card-dimension.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="667" data-original-width="1000" height="426" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhBAVdk86FP2P3EWlC6W9905Nlii7djGba_6v6k-MNRyf0Hu5RNxjZwKszLiCsRcIMcmQ96337OSAKtY9IXDrtZLtU2ZLZKgmAxSthtYE0BYJviP7q5l9wOTGHkkLeDS69nOE-KqPfJMCKR/s640/Coffee-card-dimension.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
And then I used a combination of <a href="http://shrsl.com/i21e">Neat and Tangled's Perfect Blend stamp set</a> for the coffee cups, and Krumspring's Coffee is Love stamp set for the sentiment. <br />
<br />
I filmed a very impromptu timelapse video of my process if you care to check it out! I'm not sure if it'll work very well here in Blogger, but I'll <a href="http://instagram.com/natalieelph">upload it to my Instagram account</a> as well!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<iframe allowfullscreen='allowfullscreen' webkitallowfullscreen='webkitallowfullscreen' mozallowfullscreen='mozallowfullscreen' width='320' height='266' src='https://www.blogger.com/video.g?token=AD6v5dwYf5LpVHm0DPSybLM1mScyHdiacUHy-lhJIH7ovCzpoXudGPynYqd1L2EUuYpjFuk48DrzI5zL3CTlw0T72g' class='b-hbp-video b-uploaded' frameborder='0'></iframe></div>
<br />

But that was before I received a big box full of the latest Sizzix Lifestyle releases! I actually let the Trophy Husband do a comeback unboxing video to see his spin on all the new dies, and you can <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hyw75Yda4lw">catch that on my YouTube channel HERE. </a><br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjNiSdnFO3qCQcStVo3QWpbyIbW7K1CUD6-biTmfadVsMdftqiv1u-FF7ARaZ3eVCSUDDXX_4qKkFvNTkbFu8XOOTS8urJ5Ca6HMj__-Oqk8U8CBxfu4EU8YnUVX7gsYO2sJXl7xufpsuLB/s1600/Sizzix-Country-Blossoms-card-by-Natalie-Elphinstone.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="752" data-original-width="1000" height="480" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjNiSdnFO3qCQcStVo3QWpbyIbW7K1CUD6-biTmfadVsMdftqiv1u-FF7ARaZ3eVCSUDDXX_4qKkFvNTkbFu8XOOTS8urJ5Ca6HMj__-Oqk8U8CBxfu4EU8YnUVX7gsYO2sJXl7xufpsuLB/s640/Sizzix-Country-Blossoms-card-by-Natalie-Elphinstone.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
It's always fun to then see which of the die sets I end up playing with first because usually these are the ones that become long term favourites. One of the sets that caught my eye was the <a href="https://www.sizzix.co.uk/662095/sizzix-thinlits-die-set-13pk-country-florals">Country Florals set. </a><br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgUi4IjKy3HhOjXcnOvDdtKwHQZl4SlNw60_ZOiUaWZ_eOmu6chxZfVaFHKQqviJ3RsDln5sCrziTqvR7IiCf6SZYbvu3vTZyx6NyWl2SO6CMkDSdJzdQV2k_OS1kjXGe7W_AmxrZ0xy_kb/s1600/Sizzix-Country-Blossoms-detail-by-Natalie-Elphinstone.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="667" data-original-width="1000" height="426" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgUi4IjKy3HhOjXcnOvDdtKwHQZl4SlNw60_ZOiUaWZ_eOmu6chxZfVaFHKQqviJ3RsDln5sCrziTqvR7IiCf6SZYbvu3vTZyx6NyWl2SO6CMkDSdJzdQV2k_OS1kjXGe7W_AmxrZ0xy_kb/s640/Sizzix-Country-Blossoms-detail-by-Natalie-Elphinstone.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
I love that it includes dies for a bunch of different flowers as well as leaves..... and it also includes those antlers too! I just adore this funky addition and I used them to frame this bouquet for a thankyou card. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh5ZyQm70ERi8w_PRnjY-lKsGeaBJAJ9SWKIOw9GqaSkak3p5pL1BMl8zZ_u-GLTYU3PB2oHUtkwu2Y7oef5IYEXl_2Tt6-4uZ_W9wB_Iwk-bYU-mJ6dquF_AmWXzsz6m5kFk5eLwrEk4LP/s1600/Thank-You-Bunches-detail.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="667" data-original-width="1000" height="426" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh5ZyQm70ERi8w_PRnjY-lKsGeaBJAJ9SWKIOw9GqaSkak3p5pL1BMl8zZ_u-GLTYU3PB2oHUtkwu2Y7oef5IYEXl_2Tt6-4uZ_W9wB_Iwk-bYU-mJ6dquF_AmWXzsz6m5kFk5eLwrEk4LP/s640/Thank-You-Bunches-detail.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
I was so inspired I ended up doing another version of the same card design a couple of weeks after the first. This time I opted to tone down the colour palette even more, omit the antlers and layer in a few more flowers instead. That's because I wanted to focus on the florals so that it matched the sentiment I chose. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEho_h_A3UclufJ_i9r-pBhf-ctvMnSe7ggwrLuUCfeZzPdp9jCu3JhXfj70NklfvuBUSuHprTJPXIigUj9TESAGVEROBGE5dcTevzwxq5EmF5gjDn6rA0ZxTk7HrP7HXuN8y9P2GhSyUTA_/s1600/Thank-You-Bunches.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1000" data-original-width="1000" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEho_h_A3UclufJ_i9r-pBhf-ctvMnSe7ggwrLuUCfeZzPdp9jCu3JhXfj70NklfvuBUSuHprTJPXIigUj9TESAGVEROBGE5dcTevzwxq5EmF5gjDn6rA0ZxTk7HrP7HXuN8y9P2GhSyUTA_/s640/Thank-You-Bunches.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
I stamped the 6" long "thank you" and masked a small section so I could add in the "bunches" as well. These are from the <a href="http://inkblotshop.blogspot.com.au/2017/08/stretched-sentiments-4x6-clear-stamp-set.html">Stretched Sentiments stamp set from Ink Blot Shop</a> (another new favourite aquisition!)<br />
<br />
So it turns out I really do love making flowery cards after all! ;-) <br />

<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
I tried to work in as many of the stamps as I could (without going too crazy!) and I ended up with this story-book like scene. It was crying out to be watercoloured so that was the direction I took it. <br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiW8WzsNZVB_9Es3rcq7uoFhLPAeTxZ-Z_Wb-Gj2ddmbfW6kbiPfAmkPj0BmVUudArVNYnRdDN71VyLqKtAROYGfU3sMmvaoObe9-M9rDF0ipf9aYBtRVPV2t1KBRn2vb0zvdEUQO7Bt-Pk/s1600/Hello-Pumpkin-detail-2-banner.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="745" data-original-width="1000" height="476" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiW8WzsNZVB_9Es3rcq7uoFhLPAeTxZ-Z_Wb-Gj2ddmbfW6kbiPfAmkPj0BmVUudArVNYnRdDN71VyLqKtAROYGfU3sMmvaoObe9-M9rDF0ipf9aYBtRVPV2t1KBRn2vb0zvdEUQO7Bt-Pk/s640/Hello-Pumpkin-detail-2-banner.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
Just as I was contemplating the fact I very rarely ever make one-layer cards (since I still don't consider myself a stamper and colourer) I decided that I really couldn't resist adding a touch of dimension, and those wood veneer arrows gained a place in the design ;-)<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
Something else that I really love about this set is that all proceeds from it's sale will be donated to support the medical bills that Danielle's father (Danielle is the founder of Neat and Tangled) is facing during his health battle. You can find more info about that <a href="https://www.gofundme.com/dans-crps-treatment-fund">on their GoFundMe page.</a><br />
<br />
You can find <a href="https://www.simonsaysstamp.com/product/Neat-and-Tangled-HELLO-PUMPKIN-Stamps-and-Dies-Set-SR17NTSet-Stamptember-Exclusive-SR17NTSet/0">this exclusive stamp set and dies at Simon Says Stamp! now</a>. Remember, these are limited edition so once they're sold out they're gone forever.<br />

<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjyBOmyGombwv7TpBa8xOV_8RSdFL-uvkktS58K3a1YOoRvUp-gf8uKBty_4faxtelJrpWJ2AR_TGEcc3_W3S4b2DZ3fCM6hXnHDVzruezdk4VmPFrN6SBGw6t9pY6JkcRKIOo3jvNQKZby/s1600/Never-Forget-by-Natalie-Elphinstone.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="884" data-original-width="1000" height="564" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjyBOmyGombwv7TpBa8xOV_8RSdFL-uvkktS58K3a1YOoRvUp-gf8uKBty_4faxtelJrpWJ2AR_TGEcc3_W3S4b2DZ3fCM6hXnHDVzruezdk4VmPFrN6SBGw6t9pY6JkcRKIOo3jvNQKZby/s640/Never-Forget-by-Natalie-Elphinstone.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
This is a bit of a variation on my normal go-to colour scheme of pink and aqua. This time it's mixed with navy and peach as well. I love how these challenges push me to places I wouldn't think of myself!<br />
<br />
Here's what the Mood Board looks like: <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjGSiVNhV6JfKIlUDM8PoFoso_z6JaQecyrSkM_36g3bsDBPNh1EuePmpcddJJQRR-aDDkssjTaXoNldidbxrg89MW0okQi29l2cXD8rCWydD1n_lCvHz6DPbwCEuxSLSFOh8bcyaBs5qrI/s1600/August+Mood+Board.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1000" data-original-width="700" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjGSiVNhV6JfKIlUDM8PoFoso_z6JaQecyrSkM_36g3bsDBPNh1EuePmpcddJJQRR-aDDkssjTaXoNldidbxrg89MW0okQi29l2cXD8rCWydD1n_lCvHz6DPbwCEuxSLSFOh8bcyaBs5qrI/s640/August+Mood+Board.jpg" width="448" /></a></div>
<br />
I started my card first by pulling out some scraps of paper and a few embellishments that match the colour scheme. That's usually how I roll for these types of challenges! I then use them to dictate how the design of my card is going to go as far as focal point and sentiment are concerned. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhP6waYd6OlJrY71Dxky75thnMQQatRS9SLH0tJQUBygD5Mnz5DS5drJfeyzajFZMg-bJo1x1NLdEEK3B-msNcPL3fWXGiGWVSmHXGjblxhJSjG5P2qhAizc8u0-5ZEqHTaMjLc30ob6oMi/s1600/Never-Forget-detail-1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="667" data-original-width="1000" height="426" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhP6waYd6OlJrY71Dxky75thnMQQatRS9SLH0tJQUBygD5Mnz5DS5drJfeyzajFZMg-bJo1x1NLdEEK3B-msNcPL3fWXGiGWVSmHXGjblxhJSjG5P2qhAizc8u0-5ZEqHTaMjLc30ob6oMi/s640/Never-Forget-detail-1.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
But of course, I can't forget the mood board itself and on this occasion I draw inspiration from the vertical lines in the bottom two pictures. I line up squares of my patterned paper and then sew it all down with my sewing machine. I let the lines of thread mimic the vertical lines from the mood board. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

The <a href="http://shrsl.com/jo2b">September scrapbook kit from Studio Calico</a> was exactly what I needed to inspire me. The colours and designs in this kit are totally me!<br />
But thinking I might be a little rusty I decided not to go too crazy. I used a 8x12" photo to dominate the page and then just added some clusters of cute things, and highlighted the colours of the photo with some paper strips. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi2llleGWnY1EWqY4C9UC48V21nWg3A9HnKbILGZQATlWGZ6fb6yWpsGqYDIDwf8pUEVRmGTJGOrh8ROBsdwOSP8QDZSMSWRPZR8op2k4FCjEBZtXNbREJZBPde0dDgmIoRPj7_kWFRiZ8b/s1600/Chaotic-by-Natalie-Elphinstone.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1022" data-original-width="1000" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi2llleGWnY1EWqY4C9UC48V21nWg3A9HnKbILGZQATlWGZ6fb6yWpsGqYDIDwf8pUEVRmGTJGOrh8ROBsdwOSP8QDZSMSWRPZR8op2k4FCjEBZtXNbREJZBPde0dDgmIoRPj7_kWFRiZ8b/s640/Chaotic-by-Natalie-Elphinstone.jpg" width="626" /></a></div>
<br />
Everything on this page is from the <a href="http://shrsl.com/jo2b">Main Kit Only</a>, with the exception of the alpha stamps I used to create the title. They're called <a href="http://shrsl.com/jo17">Blocked Alpha and Numbers</a> and are available as a separate purchase. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjVtalysqIF4_t-Y_v4sGqyK2sqnl_YFuDIbRoylN-ENxvmhdi8CpTjFA7xAZGUaF9p04rgd1sEkmIUIP9E5-vThyphenhyphen111bOpxAqhiKY3MBJEPhsG0EAuclEU6rpA_nu7_8k95ecHPOyN8-Kt/s1600/Alpha-sneak.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="667" data-original-width="1000" height="426" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjVtalysqIF4_t-Y_v4sGqyK2sqnl_YFuDIbRoylN-ENxvmhdi8CpTjFA7xAZGUaF9p04rgd1sEkmIUIP9E5-vThyphenhyphen111bOpxAqhiKY3MBJEPhsG0EAuclEU6rpA_nu7_8k95ecHPOyN8-Kt/s640/Alpha-sneak.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
I love the combination of this bold graphic alpha with a handrawn feel to it because of the scribbly shadow. I stamped my title onto watercolour paper with black embossing powder, then coloured them with Color Theory Inks to match Bethany's shirt in the photo. Oh... and then I ended up adding Stickles over the top for some glitter. Couldn't help it! <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh1k4N_QGg8Cbh2ITH_7RG9ib1qOAt4k9Fusbx20-NPpfhMz7sZ3VrC8eGQ55P7dpKhwlu4c2NVcGI5YhN7lkoTdul7sTvDWM55pTTN_OXnTEmBgSxne7ZZ7w7hydGx5wq_x2pnz3TDqAhz/s1600/Chaotic-title.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="695" data-original-width="1000" height="444" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh1k4N_QGg8Cbh2ITH_7RG9ib1qOAt4k9Fusbx20-NPpfhMz7sZ3VrC8eGQ55P7dpKhwlu4c2NVcGI5YhN7lkoTdul7sTvDWM55pTTN_OXnTEmBgSxne7ZZ7w7hydGx5wq_x2pnz3TDqAhz/s640/Chaotic-title.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
But new layouts aside, it was the new release stamps Studio Calico specifically asked me to play with, and I couldn't be happier to agree to that! They asked me for 3 cards... I 'accidentally' made 6!<br />
(Yes, I know I'm only sharing 5 here, but the last card I'm not overly happy with so I'm not sharing it! LOL!) <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjLUlKo0vjhC2XD0UfhzBg8vgI0ppvgBFyJd8mzAVTJoK50CGQ4h9ESl_WiD2bGrDsRbc1bcl0yWWwbvQ0BagpY7he_nqNoq-9UZ3_G-kc62ZR4T-f6VkZhWdCdUbx6c96n0CGpF6sbkiEi/s1600/Card-sneaks.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="667" data-original-width="1000" height="426" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjLUlKo0vjhC2XD0UfhzBg8vgI0ppvgBFyJd8mzAVTJoK50CGQ4h9ESl_WiD2bGrDsRbc1bcl0yWWwbvQ0BagpY7he_nqNoq-9UZ3_G-kc62ZR4T-f6VkZhWdCdUbx6c96n0CGpF6sbkiEi/s640/Card-sneaks.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
I first started with the <a href="http://shrsl.com/jo1a">Thanksgiving stamp set</a> with it's grassy frame type of stamp, and a million options for sentiments to pop inside. I had this idea for how I wanted the finished card to look, but I wasn't sure if it would work, so I did a mock-up version first with a blue and yellow background. It seemed like it would turn out ok so I did my 'good' version in the yellow-pink-red-blue spectrum. I finished it off with some puffy asterix from the Scrapbook Kit.<br />
But I kept looking back at my mock up version and couldn't bear to throw it away. It's not perfectly stamped but I figured I would finish the card anyway, and try to cover up the defects with buttons! LOL!<br />
And now I have a set! <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh31biQJ0EyVoYGoPweYniAwsrL3y1444dFQ-Txp9rigF8dHEASZwrxolclIlW7rvzTVDQ_GJo-J277oAVAT8SyBDTYHibNqGvNtPGQq_yXDVsXpDFqKBCp2f3UVPptnDbxz5mN24Dl_MJA/s1600/Counting-my-Blessings-both-by-Natalie-Elphinstone.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="861" data-original-width="1000" height="550" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh31biQJ0EyVoYGoPweYniAwsrL3y1444dFQ-Txp9rigF8dHEASZwrxolclIlW7rvzTVDQ_GJo-J277oAVAT8SyBDTYHibNqGvNtPGQq_yXDVsXpDFqKBCp2f3UVPptnDbxz5mN24Dl_MJA/s640/Counting-my-Blessings-both-by-Natalie-Elphinstone.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
I fell in love with the <a href="http://shrsl.com/jo1b">Fall Plants set</a>. I think it's my favourite! It has a great mixture of flowers and vegetables (of all things!) and my 'failed' card featured the carrots. But then I had an idea to just take one of the flowers - the layered pansy - and stamp a whole field of them in rainbow colours. I wanted it to represent reproduction and growth and fertility to match the sentiment from the same set. I'm always in need of new baby cards so this is perfect. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjb-82ifBaIdNLNsgJ713_DM_Ikj4tv7ONoqc2eNWej-2mGJAGX68RIUO6jHJE1UxC3m73QuSOJ1J6f0xEBMhr2Vc7TbjiH5NJn7SeEG0v97Tc_bJRBSplFub9ROEURfz3CuB_W7s_DOQYt/s1600/Growing-Family-by-Natalie-Elphinstone.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="762" data-original-width="1000" height="486" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjb-82ifBaIdNLNsgJ713_DM_Ikj4tv7ONoqc2eNWej-2mGJAGX68RIUO6jHJE1UxC3m73QuSOJ1J6f0xEBMhr2Vc7TbjiH5NJn7SeEG0v97Tc_bJRBSplFub9ROEURfz3CuB_W7s_DOQYt/s640/Growing-Family-by-Natalie-Elphinstone.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
Another delicate and elegant stamp set from this release is the <a href="http://shrsl.com/jo19">Floral Thank You set</a>. It's got a mixture of detailed floral images and bold graphic sentiments. They work together really well, so on this card I decided just to let them shine by themselves. This is about as CAS as I can get! <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiza2nxGcz-6n-8olSkl4_M_TXKvJvDNC3cEo3AtfVGpNAhrf5l8DlhasmBheh_cMYAJC_stehkGQX0_LHN_XwJqPC3wHzmU8L6RSQ_mGTHupZbE7fQOO2CkPouDuuabOwJtMo4-DHt59Ow/s1600/Thank-You-by-Natalie-Elphinstone.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="762" data-original-width="1000" height="486" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiza2nxGcz-6n-8olSkl4_M_TXKvJvDNC3cEo3AtfVGpNAhrf5l8DlhasmBheh_cMYAJC_stehkGQX0_LHN_XwJqPC3wHzmU8L6RSQ_mGTHupZbE7fQOO2CkPouDuuabOwJtMo4-DHt59Ow/s640/Thank-You-by-Natalie-Elphinstone.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
And lastly I took the <a href="http://shrsl.com/jo18">Everyday Magic stamp set</a> and whipped up this final card. There are lots of great images and funky sentiments in this set, but I stuck with just a couple. I was inspired by the 'heart of gold' phrase and had this idea to stamp a grid design of the hearts in gold. Pretty obvious right?! To kick it up a notch I also took the same heart stamp, inked it up with Color Theory inks, spritz it with water and then slammed it down on the paper to create the splatters behind each one. Messy but fun! <br />

The Story of Jot Pockets 1Popping in real quick to share something exciting!<br />
<br />
Have you heard of an eMook before? I have to admit that before this week I hadn't either! But my friend Kim Archer (the genius behind the hugely popular <a href="http://jotmagazine.com/">Jot Magazine</a>) has just released one, and it's spectacular! It's called <a href="https://jotmag.myshopify.com/">Jot Pockets</a> and it's filled with inspiring ideas to help you create DO-ABLE pocket pages.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhScUyRPGG9zzVQwJftZn9yWWkeA7PSWH9mKQlS8NG2cdkJhsT8x5ik8vg5hE262w_7_QMf9BWGmnpuOod0vsO4rg6Ua68YDMoHXD_gY2HtlgqHp8z7lF6dwoiS5zA38ODAYcpWR3O1W7eS/s1600/Jot+Pockets+1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="496" data-original-width="478" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhScUyRPGG9zzVQwJftZn9yWWkeA7PSWH9mKQlS8NG2cdkJhsT8x5ik8vg5hE262w_7_QMf9BWGmnpuOod0vsO4rg6Ua68YDMoHXD_gY2HtlgqHp8z7lF6dwoiS5zA38ODAYcpWR3O1W7eS/s1600/Jot+Pockets+1.jpg" /></a></div>
<br />
I downloaded my copy yesterday and I'm purposely taking it slow because every page has got me running to my scrap room to try out something new I've seen in it!<br />
<br />
So if you're into memory keeping through pocket pages, or you want to learn how, then grab your copy for the <a href="https://jotmag.myshopify.com/">special early bird price HERE</a>.<br />
<br />
xx <br />
<br />
PS. An eMook is a cross between an eBook and an a digital magazine ;-)<br />

<br />
I've been so lucky to be part of the Krumspring Dream Team for the past
few months and keep pinching myself that I get to work with Maria's fun
stamps! And now here we are celebrating not only the 1st anniversary, but a whole new release to go with it!!<br />
<br />
8 BRAND NEW SETS of stamps are available right now in the <a href="http://www.krumspringshop.com/" target="_blank">Krumspring shop</a>! There's everything from classic florals, essential background stripes, on-trend coffee, funky animals and some very cheeky fruit! <br />
<br />
But for the card I'm sharing with you today I chose to work with the <a href="http://krumspringshop.dk/product/drinks-are-on-me" target="_blank">"Drinks Are On Me" set</a>. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhBB0O2pJAMo8W_T-CsJ88ERD3ILwlt4DKELuQwwtDu0JppsfZNXEVOjjPcOOTFQa9fphQFW_J0r3ap6QV76kCce5nmfPG1Xkqsiz6AnAEWQdR3eJWLHK1oHCxftIlWq5a0tA4oqFI3q3dk/s1600/Drinks+card.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="795" data-original-width="1000" height="508" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhBB0O2pJAMo8W_T-CsJ88ERD3ILwlt4DKELuQwwtDu0JppsfZNXEVOjjPcOOTFQa9fphQFW_J0r3ap6QV76kCce5nmfPG1Xkqsiz6AnAEWQdR3eJWLHK1oHCxftIlWq5a0tA4oqFI3q3dk/s640/Drinks+card.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
This set includes four different shaped glasses, lots of other bits to fill them with - fruit and flowers and straws and bubbles, and quite a few sentiment options too. It's so fun, and gives you so many possibilities for different themes. I'm thinking you could use the tropical elements for a holiday card, the champagne glasses for weddings, and the wine glasses could easily go on a masculine card. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhKNxdkUuel-IhzR-6bJ4vgaINWnxFy1XW0sHRWwDj5l3sbp7wiQrC5rpfGg91Qq8g_p8aLmOB7eM_Gi43sHO-pqI129mjj5DVH6NhNF6RL0RFHM5BHIjg0TaKfrlMG3kalQQFKD1stO3c1/s1600/Drinks+card+detail.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="735" data-original-width="1000" height="470" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhKNxdkUuel-IhzR-6bJ4vgaINWnxFy1XW0sHRWwDj5l3sbp7wiQrC5rpfGg91Qq8g_p8aLmOB7eM_Gi43sHO-pqI129mjj5DVH6NhNF6RL0RFHM5BHIjg0TaKfrlMG3kalQQFKD1stO3c1/s640/Drinks+card+detail.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
In my usual style I ended up throwing the whole rainbow of bright colours onto it, as well as a touch of bling to give it some sparkle. I can't help it!<br />
<br />
Now it wouldn't be a blog hop without some PRIZES would it?!!<br />
Leave a comment here, and on each stop of the hop - not only will you catch a boat-load of inspiration, but it will give you 16 chances of winning a $10 gift certificate to the <a href="http://www.krumspringshop.com/" target="_blank">Krumspring Shop</a>!<br />
But there's even more good news! You'll also go in the running to win the GRAND PRIZE which is a great big bundle of Krumspring stamps!<br />
<br />
The blog hop runs until August 23rd at 12pm CET and the winners will be announced on the <a href="http://krumspringshopblog.com/" target="_blank">Krumspring blog</a> very shortly after that.<br />
<br />
Your next stop along the way is... the incredible <a href="http://wp.me/p3gieN-3HV" target="_blank">Mayling Jung</a>!!<br />
Good luck and happy hopping! <br />
<br />
xx<br />

This weekend I'm going to share with you two companies that I'm lucky enough to work with, and the birthday celebrations that they've got going on.<br />
<br />
Today I want to tell you all about <a href="http://shrsl.com/g7ou" target="_blank">Neat and Tangled</a>! <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg8fOjCYGHkpZQsDdx75qt5JoIt5EvphdX4QaYZQ8nmuT1xWvQJ8giH6Mt8SFWHbtCu4ZU3-Z79UJ4nhThnkXg6Dk6hiSbGiMdtIsDSTIXCwwvEnr9HqIB6Sat4lT30w6T6qsDZ3F3QsOZx/s1600/Hooray-Card-by-Natalie-Elphinstone.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="810" data-original-width="1000" height="518" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg8fOjCYGHkpZQsDdx75qt5JoIt5EvphdX4QaYZQ8nmuT1xWvQJ8giH6Mt8SFWHbtCu4ZU3-Z79UJ4nhThnkXg6Dk6hiSbGiMdtIsDSTIXCwwvEnr9HqIB6Sat4lT30w6T6qsDZ3F3QsOZx/s640/Hooray-Card-by-Natalie-Elphinstone.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
Neat and Tangled are having their 5th birthday and they're going BIG with the celebrations. Earlier in the month we had a blog hop, and now <a href="http://shrsl.com/gd4f" target="_blank">on the blog</a> they're showcasing a different guest designer every day until the end of the month! And of course, there's a <a href="http://shrsl.com/g7ou" target="_blank">bunch of new releases</a> which are great for birthday and celebratory occasions. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg5mk8P8UvKa_S5rLa5y-Fc7xD8bgjDrfzS9UYsXlTTB4J9WheWaNxYZ4o9iQHTvn9oCggun34WZ9CB6Dw_MgJ5mhQo6K_5DPLtNjRghWlnDKBGFLfTH3tmlkB7HBefWkqE1yX7IdWHlwa7/s1600/Hooray-monkey.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="745" data-original-width="1000" height="476" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg5mk8P8UvKa_S5rLa5y-Fc7xD8bgjDrfzS9UYsXlTTB4J9WheWaNxYZ4o9iQHTvn9oCggun34WZ9CB6Dw_MgJ5mhQo6K_5DPLtNjRghWlnDKBGFLfTH3tmlkB7HBefWkqE1yX7IdWHlwa7/s640/Hooray-monkey.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
I made this card combining quite a few of the new releases. The super cute stamp set is called <a href="http://shrsl.com/ji0v" target="_blank">"Wild Ones"</a> and comes with lots of party animals - I've chosen only to feature the monkey for this card. Of course, there's a <a href="http://shrsl.com/ji0w" target="_blank">matching set of dies</a> as well. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiu6ZXyH5pqk0vFmAxt53GMzWYkxQ59ikdZfQrmXWrb-F_u-2QAldWpmInZIzq-ep2NZy5MX1rO9OOlyc_uhGNPgIemZE3V5v4oUkxAz_aI2sRICLo5j_a92KDdqs537kRPNy_0TEjDCEuC/s1600/Hooray-present.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="745" data-original-width="1000" height="476" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiu6ZXyH5pqk0vFmAxt53GMzWYkxQ59ikdZfQrmXWrb-F_u-2QAldWpmInZIzq-ep2NZy5MX1rO9OOlyc_uhGNPgIemZE3V5v4oUkxAz_aI2sRICLo5j_a92KDdqs537kRPNy_0TEjDCEuC/s640/Hooray-present.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
For the sentiment I've used the <a href="http://shrsl.com/ji0y" target="_blank">"Hooray" dies</a> - love that there's a die for both the word and the shadow so you can do all sorts of mixing and matching. And I've stamped the <a href="http://shrsl.com/ji10" target="_blank">"All the Sprinkles" stamp</a> just along the edges of the background panels to help capture that party atmosphere!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgRpybtcYZQTf_Dt5pxy_q80AWqmn3N686hZlqesfYzOGFQSGVoUy-HfD8DE_n1oK9QoqU-H9d6ifeopUXncDSoMr58LIc6eba7fOAzlSxXbcP6lEDj_GURemno2wp49j9zaITJP9-92IRu/s1600/Balloon-card-by-Natalie-Elphinstone.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="842" data-original-width="1000" height="538" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgRpybtcYZQTf_Dt5pxy_q80AWqmn3N686hZlqesfYzOGFQSGVoUy-HfD8DE_n1oK9QoqU-H9d6ifeopUXncDSoMr58LIc6eba7fOAzlSxXbcP6lEDj_GURemno2wp49j9zaITJP9-92IRu/s640/Balloon-card-by-Natalie-Elphinstone.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
My second card was where I wanted to branch out and do a bit of technique experimentation. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj0qhoE0qk2Nn5Z3ewrqGv0-31tEASJxXTeZSqAeeglJD-6A2yNLMVDlkTxHZq0ZAdLy72goNOZS0DJb2C0gFZxXMQN-7rKdxDL266kIVGmeYKn-aQK9jNpJbzQ6lrV-YZqaWubBjhEFPy-/s1600/Balloon-sneak.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="667" data-original-width="1000" height="426" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj0qhoE0qk2Nn5Z3ewrqGv0-31tEASJxXTeZSqAeeglJD-6A2yNLMVDlkTxHZq0ZAdLy72goNOZS0DJb2C0gFZxXMQN-7rKdxDL266kIVGmeYKn-aQK9jNpJbzQ6lrV-YZqaWubBjhEFPy-/s640/Balloon-sneak.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
The <a href="http://shrsl.com/ji0x" target="_blank">"Balloon Duo" stencil</a> has been REALLY popular and you can see why. It comes with two stencils which you can combine together to create a layered image, or of course you could just use them separately. I wanted to try out my new Distress Oxides on black cardstock because they turn out nice and opaque, and then I took it even one step further by adding shaded details with some Prismacolour pencils. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiwkyX76VPX4e8RMBrSSQw35sH54LuVozxDBn2ldVc89CGbSTRkbPWAR1GCV__gwBPMo2O-v8Wp25lyRw5zyhQohgqKbvgsZOJ-O-2WZ6GsPYb_ESVwbMuqfxnk6szSrm70OmuXxXq1ZUlt/s1600/Balloon-card-detail.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="745" data-original-width="1000" height="476" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiwkyX76VPX4e8RMBrSSQw35sH54LuVozxDBn2ldVc89CGbSTRkbPWAR1GCV__gwBPMo2O-v8Wp25lyRw5zyhQohgqKbvgsZOJ-O-2WZ6GsPYb_ESVwbMuqfxnk6szSrm70OmuXxXq1ZUlt/s640/Balloon-card-detail.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
You can find all the <a href="http://shrsl.com/g7ou" target="_blank">new release Neat and Tangled products in their shop HERE</a>.<br />
And catch all the excitement <a href="http://shrsl.com/gd4f" target="_blank">on their blog HERE</a>.<br />

<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh2NFQKYzNfpezRZs7wFe2gZUDztF-6Gh6cY2L7xH3t4onr4ZaBr5WSvMOYIWJIAi0npyH6MfAeRZ14BxjuMkzKRcki3BuP7NqKDnHPCBwAq1TSLt9Sw8QzdbH2j6WI8udAmbBuLv8ARwBJ/s1600/Deer-Bag-topper.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="800" data-original-width="800" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh2NFQKYzNfpezRZs7wFe2gZUDztF-6Gh6cY2L7xH3t4onr4ZaBr5WSvMOYIWJIAi0npyH6MfAeRZ14BxjuMkzKRcki3BuP7NqKDnHPCBwAq1TSLt9Sw8QzdbH2j6WI8udAmbBuLv8ARwBJ/s640/Deer-Bag-topper.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
But recently I've discovered a whole new way to jazz up my wrapping game. I'm using the plain kraft bags that I have in my hall cupboard, but making them fancy with the addition of a few simple diecuts and embellishments from my stash. <br />

This autumn-inspired decor is courtesy of an old packet of Basic Grey ephemera and the <a href="https://www.sizzix.co.uk/661694/sizzix-bigz-die-little-deer" target="_blank">Sizzix Little Deer die</a>, as well as the <a href="https://www.sizzix.co.uk/661717/sizzix-bigz-die-woodland-foliage" target="_blank">Sizzix Woodland Foliage die</a>. Perfect combination! <br />

<br />
And it might not look like it, but this bag was even easier to decorate. This stunningly detailed <a href="https://www.sizzix.co.uk/661687/sizzix-thinlits-die-meadow-butterfly-2" target="_blank">Sizzix die is called Meadow Butterfly #2</a> and it's actually all one piece. I cut it out of a variety of coloured papers and then snipped out the different sections before layering them back together again.<br />

<br />
Overall I'm quite chuffed with this technique for gift wrapping. It's another way of getting more use out of my dies, it helps whittle down my stash of scrap paper and it creates a fabulous result! I'll be doing more of this in the future I suspect!<br />

And I don't just mean my patients! I mean, my friends, my colleagues and my family are all popping out little bundles of joy which means I need quite the stash of cards for baby showers and birth announcements etc etc. Here's a few that I've made recently....<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgzGhNuPjZsbONMj4lcTM9PjgnxIU0QEElpC7jcPnWm19YE30k7IlIhGG9HCvE8tQRcuvxUTKkwxEJiPuzZc7H4iDQ716fZNmzFYYzPC2CgtHURIoiXpodoUriqSxiSpETMx61DNxCr8X1n/s1600/Prehistoric-Family-by-Natalie-Elphinstone.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="721" data-original-width="1000" height="460" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgzGhNuPjZsbONMj4lcTM9PjgnxIU0QEElpC7jcPnWm19YE30k7IlIhGG9HCvE8tQRcuvxUTKkwxEJiPuzZc7H4iDQ716fZNmzFYYzPC2CgtHURIoiXpodoUriqSxiSpETMx61DNxCr8X1n/s640/Prehistoric-Family-by-Natalie-Elphinstone.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
Firstly, I've got this very non-traditional approach to a baby shower card. I mean, dinosaurs? But when I saw the little triceratops on the skateboard as well as the little hatchling then I knew it could work. Not biologically of course. But the cuteness factor is still there right?!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgwFRAJlX3RG7f42LZ0WgxioMAZqXsqCpHnbLs9kB8MLOBeGmLbqfmrLEmLiU9dDxBlxDqxo-ZFTeO3eO6D_uEBI7TvZ-w4CtjWOIqEdw-qYjh7qa5uU56IeuWRptfhBSSb3lDNN_llTxSc/s1600/Prehistoric-detail-2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="667" data-original-width="1000" height="426" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgwFRAJlX3RG7f42LZ0WgxioMAZqXsqCpHnbLs9kB8MLOBeGmLbqfmrLEmLiU9dDxBlxDqxo-ZFTeO3eO6D_uEBI7TvZ-w4CtjWOIqEdw-qYjh7qa5uU56IeuWRptfhBSSb3lDNN_llTxSc/s640/Prehistoric-detail-2.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
Plus, it was a great excuse to bust out this <a href="http://shrsl.com/i213" target="_blank">Neat and Tangled Prehistoric Stamp</a> and <a href="http://shrsl.com/i212" target="_blank">Die set</a> and give it some colour. It's one of my new favourites! <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiApXVFVOMmuFj08C1ATDFPwAlTkYgakj5j_VjQM6GPn3KNOHQLMw0iSfJD5uJ2LltHsri9V-8mCoDedYdrVRIVHgScrkBhq5ar3QqD3f9l0G4TJTaevswsVLPA0o_NvCexjBhdz2sfmtR5/s1600/Celebrate-Baby-by-Natalie-Elphinstone.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="738" data-original-width="1000" height="472" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiApXVFVOMmuFj08C1ATDFPwAlTkYgakj5j_VjQM6GPn3KNOHQLMw0iSfJD5uJ2LltHsri9V-8mCoDedYdrVRIVHgScrkBhq5ar3QqD3f9l0G4TJTaevswsVLPA0o_NvCexjBhdz2sfmtR5/s640/Celebrate-Baby-by-Natalie-Elphinstone.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
For this card I decided to gather all my cute little baby animal stamps from across a number of different sets and go with a more traditional pastel and floral approach ;-) <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjiCSAnsryXSOaJQHYo1eP8FG3_noUpwhf-NV8CDRUGi0zXjACo7tCUdHMKh6OuYpayrFZX79ikCienATEyraxzXrjwgK-XGrOxYmbxsMG9N0ZES36iCQf3Tx8HlP5jLVwMWJPWHH0WVHJx/s1600/Celebrate-detail.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="667" data-original-width="1000" height="426" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjiCSAnsryXSOaJQHYo1eP8FG3_noUpwhf-NV8CDRUGi0zXjACo7tCUdHMKh6OuYpayrFZX79ikCienATEyraxzXrjwgK-XGrOxYmbxsMG9N0ZES36iCQf3Tx8HlP5jLVwMWJPWHH0WVHJx/s640/Celebrate-detail.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
No actual baby-specific stamp sets here, in fact, the bear and bird are
from a <a href="http://shrsl.com/i21g" target="_blank">Neat and Tangled set called Lumberjack Love</a>, and the rabbit, carrots and flowers are from an
Easter set called <a href="http://shrsl.com/gey4" target="_blank">Cottontail Cuties!</a> <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiPQ-wHSBCRiesJR0nMX6-EQbmXvd21ClOnCV8DrvHXAvka9w4X9AVmYhpoOk8ji1PSMVp5qW_3_AzWDWRRXiPBqI7__FSccP_mOtpBKhWSxs9NK6BvyXS_LaPbsVjxaYGJkuG4fwEZTuZZ/s1600/Sweet-Baby-by-Natalie-Elphinstone.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="560" data-original-width="800" height="448" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiPQ-wHSBCRiesJR0nMX6-EQbmXvd21ClOnCV8DrvHXAvka9w4X9AVmYhpoOk8ji1PSMVp5qW_3_AzWDWRRXiPBqI7__FSccP_mOtpBKhWSxs9NK6BvyXS_LaPbsVjxaYGJkuG4fwEZTuZZ/s640/Sweet-Baby-by-Natalie-Elphinstone.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
Thinking along similar lines of having a cluster of cute celebrating animals I also created this one. The main difference being that this IS a baby-themed stamp set. It's a much older <a href="http://shrsl.com/aq0m" target="_blank">Studio Calico set</a> that's unfortunately no longer available. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhqdvQe34aZZg4oYMmnAe2KSc9YIIVNdg_1UPm_zon_AcCTaoA4GRLebtGwFrHmgD7GfRW71LhX_2E7KGkKhuhgaJcdX8djudf2e-NGo08HtRL6d4bYaHFg_yZCM_0KmADhLBQPEs3VhfNR/s1600/Sweet-Baby-detail.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="533" data-original-width="800" height="426" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhqdvQe34aZZg4oYMmnAe2KSc9YIIVNdg_1UPm_zon_AcCTaoA4GRLebtGwFrHmgD7GfRW71LhX_2E7KGkKhuhgaJcdX8djudf2e-NGo08HtRL6d4bYaHFg_yZCM_0KmADhLBQPEs3VhfNR/s640/Sweet-Baby-detail.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
I think I need to use my letter stickers on my cards more often - I love this look!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh61ly6WMvt843QczwdHFbGbf2APpfJIeBHHvYs4Km3FZONvJf54NfuUYye-v1AmNqJdnheiA3mXdfQ0DoG0n9CemGMwEsOLbxgKCfOK2g34UlV-s97VqUGWuvoG47zHq_2yYRQuhioldhh/s1600/Rainbow-baby-card-by-Natalie-Elphinstone.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="673" data-original-width="1000" height="430" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh61ly6WMvt843QczwdHFbGbf2APpfJIeBHHvYs4Km3FZONvJf54NfuUYye-v1AmNqJdnheiA3mXdfQ0DoG0n9CemGMwEsOLbxgKCfOK2g34UlV-s97VqUGWuvoG47zHq_2yYRQuhioldhh/s640/Rainbow-baby-card-by-Natalie-Elphinstone.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
Lastly (for now at least) I made yet another similar version by stamping and embossing the baby animals over an inked background. To create the slightly bleached look I painted them with plain water before mopping up the excess. This removes some of the coloured ink as well which makes the images stand out more. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiCmkVcLztwCfxw6Jpr4SsQ3Kur6t20l_MtpP4SHgRIbUzYh6nwjBhwqR7CKRXfRtvAJ36iPtxeXEIbczi-L4UQIYcyWHxCLpZmAOOqSlkQcdl5_HzNQ9MlNjlcEVueQ0Na3_LNYSzAf3hG/s1600/Rainbow-baby-card-detail.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="667" data-original-width="1000" height="426" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiCmkVcLztwCfxw6Jpr4SsQ3Kur6t20l_MtpP4SHgRIbUzYh6nwjBhwqR7CKRXfRtvAJ36iPtxeXEIbczi-L4UQIYcyWHxCLpZmAOOqSlkQcdl5_HzNQ9MlNjlcEVueQ0Na3_LNYSzAf3hG/s640/Rainbow-baby-card-detail.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
We recently just moved houses and I had to sort through and pack up my whole craft room. Yikes! What an undertaking! As it turns out I might be a bit of a crafty hoarder! And I'm also a kit keeper, rather than a kit killer. Is anyone in the same boat? If so, then you might be interested in my latest class at <a href="https://www.bigpictureclasses.com/classes/kit-building-and-stash-busting" target="_blank">Big Picture Classes called "Kit Building and Stash Busting."</a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1600" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEghFUlv-2Qjw6HK4m_BTZmbHAFftepXtA2DnDduNxbF3NTgDJQjdnikeRKuFGdjEdfY2xT-MJiVuQwXz5vvPjhMa1qayLvC6uGcINFk5I-niwWck3mRlsjoOvwG7AxkhlEOQCtIaOMiuzC-/s640/Title+Page.png" width="640" /></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Here's a couple of hints you might be a hoarder....</div>
<ul>
<li>You set certain products aside to use 'for
something special'.... only to find them months (or years!) later still in
it's packet! </li>
<li>You keep the smallest scraps of a patterned paper still grouped together with the rest of the kit contents it came with.</li>
<li> You own eyelets ;-)</li>
</ul>
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgCa91ZcZpr4kXNwXeuTER-5GdL29R9CQ1Sb5b53WWzmC4BlZ_3SmaBLnWfnZ1zYE8UiwcvKzyemvTb5lTwkhd1-3zH0n_HaYtsGfgNb13IpuQcmGM_CguWj_M_Ia318CLJyjIBUBsXnF5-/s1600/Marketing-projects.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="908" data-original-width="1600" height="362" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgCa91ZcZpr4kXNwXeuTER-5GdL29R9CQ1Sb5b53WWzmC4BlZ_3SmaBLnWfnZ1zYE8UiwcvKzyemvTb5lTwkhd1-3zH0n_HaYtsGfgNb13IpuQcmGM_CguWj_M_Ia318CLJyjIBUBsXnF5-/s640/Marketing-projects.jpg" width="640" /></a><br />
<br />
So my idea for the class came about when I made a resolution to break my hoarding habit and start actually using up some of those hidden treasures deep within my stash, and I can't tell you how satisfying it is to let these products see the light of day!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiy5IMmjHtP55r9Sb_Cm8il_dcxnZ2A_Y96AgUZi-FgbRh4LO5uWCXWQVnDD3FRHjCNZDz41Fv2p-JqDxntLJrHayLQzANqKNzDy6ib97wTvJYVw6Rm_zZKyfc8pIGmROhsndXX7bgpI5U7/s1600/Marketing---Kit-Contents.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="908" data-original-width="1600" height="362" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiy5IMmjHtP55r9Sb_Cm8il_dcxnZ2A_Y96AgUZi-FgbRh4LO5uWCXWQVnDD3FRHjCNZDz41Fv2p-JqDxntLJrHayLQzANqKNzDy6ib97wTvJYVw6Rm_zZKyfc8pIGmROhsndXX7bgpI5U7/s640/Marketing---Kit-Contents.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
My solution was easier than you think.<br />
Since I've always been a big believer in kits (makes all the difficult colour and product decisions for you before you even get started) then I figured I would begin by making up my own kit with all the bits and pieces that I've been 'saving'. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiK-t35_ewAepdsiN6ucR1xhWlKWez9hSTt3EGiBs473dWYHEQ66WQUftH3AQnznwRD-RKIxvVncA4SjkqDBLMm1njGiK8iIT7bMB0vITgwz1qqY4zlHOl_zZvfNmelsWs7mqrLKTnQlZJE/s1600/2.-Layout-detail-3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="679" data-original-width="1019" height="426" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiK-t35_ewAepdsiN6ucR1xhWlKWez9hSTt3EGiBs473dWYHEQ66WQUftH3AQnznwRD-RKIxvVncA4SjkqDBLMm1njGiK8iIT7bMB0vITgwz1qqY4zlHOl_zZvfNmelsWs7mqrLKTnQlZJE/s640/2.-Layout-detail-3.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
The first lesson in my class <a href="https://www.bigpictureclasses.com/classes/kit-building-and-stash-busting" target="_blank">"Kit Building and Stash Busting"</a> will teach you how to go about doing this. I'll answer such questions as 'Where do you start when you're building your own kit?' 'What do you include in your kit, and what should you avoid?'<br />

In the four subsequent lessons I'll share with you how I actually went about <i>creating</i> with my kit! This includes four videos where you'll see my process for making my projects, as well as hints and tips, and challenges along the way. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhX20-kXHcLPM6koQYN1QUvbUh0YK1sUfKT8BOxEvrnayeUFfJpTgTQdAHmJhPkqTCYPXR3X7Sb_vHRX3-wGDUgc2LEL5xwXq0-cFScQgxcSGd9BzYXqcfkWVMxpDKhnjShwTpZGeBylqcZ/s1600/4.-PL-spread-detail-2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="679" data-original-width="1019" height="426" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhX20-kXHcLPM6koQYN1QUvbUh0YK1sUfKT8BOxEvrnayeUFfJpTgTQdAHmJhPkqTCYPXR3X7Sb_vHRX3-wGDUgc2LEL5xwXq0-cFScQgxcSGd9BzYXqcfkWVMxpDKhnjShwTpZGeBylqcZ/s640/4.-PL-spread-detail-2.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
I ended up with two layouts, a pocket-page spread and three cards... and I pretty much killed my kit! Each project looks different, and each project looks as fresh as if I'd just created it with the latest releases. And the best part? I actually used up a bunch of my stash... and I ENJOYED it!! <br />

That's probably why I love working with my <a href="http://krumspringshop.dk/" target="_blank">Krumspring stamps</a> so much.... because they always inspire me to make something a little bit different! <br />

<br />
During June at Krumspring we celebrated Summer by making cards that best represented the season. Summer makes me think of birds and animals and being outside surrounded by nature, so I started my card with the gorgeous <a href="http://krumspringshop.dk/product/peacockness/" target="_blank">Peacockness stamp</a>, and built it up from there. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh7SM9hRxZI0r053d2B-nX7gQXdif1ahM4MmRgzuU2mZEBJ0y3EygPq4pWpEop52zXPHbJsbrVgJypUrCV-eYUtIZCF2uY-0UgXghh3ZxFz2622Frqy4ziotSorCy3j47rcauGu5TChOtnM/s1600/Peacock-sneak.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="667" data-original-width="1000" height="426" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh7SM9hRxZI0r053d2B-nX7gQXdif1ahM4MmRgzuU2mZEBJ0y3EygPq4pWpEop52zXPHbJsbrVgJypUrCV-eYUtIZCF2uY-0UgXghh3ZxFz2622Frqy4ziotSorCy3j47rcauGu5TChOtnM/s640/Peacock-sneak.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
Of course, I couldn't help but colour my peacock in with a rainbow of colours! I used Zig Clean Colour Real Brushes on the watercolour paper I stamped him on, and finished off with some Wink of Stella to add some shimmer. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiB3nYh0NUNPRxijjr197WZt0jzhXApE6gNvneEZgH8-__d2kD2zsez9JzMK-nOeo77KY4ClURH4NRE8CS3AM_bi4avxtWOdNgiECY2ZriSHsIwrVmZBxqKCyn8EpJk0tWeRNikPghAE4aJ/s1600/Peacock-detail-1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="735" data-original-width="1000" height="470" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiB3nYh0NUNPRxijjr197WZt0jzhXApE6gNvneEZgH8-__d2kD2zsez9JzMK-nOeo77KY4ClURH4NRE8CS3AM_bi4avxtWOdNgiECY2ZriSHsIwrVmZBxqKCyn8EpJk0tWeRNikPghAE4aJ/s640/Peacock-detail-1.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
To build my little window scene I stamped <a href="http://krumspringshop.dk/product/one-triangle-at-a-time/" target="_blank">'One Triangle at a Time'</a> in green ink and coloured in all the little segments with various other green inks. The leaves are a <a href="https://www.sizzix.co.uk/661206/sizzix-thinlits-die-set-9pk-garden-greens" target="_blank">Sizzix die called 'Garden Greens'</a>, and the frame is designed by Tim Holtz. It's called <a href="https://www.sizzix.co.uk/661189/sizzix-thinlits-die-set-pk-stitched-rectangles" target="_blank">'Stitched Rectangles'</a>. Whilst the 'awesome' die comes from Studio Calico. Talk about mix and match!! <br />
