I had it down on my 'list' of things to do.
Join in on this month's sketch challenge at My Mind's Eye that is.
I'm cutting it mighty close to get this entry in. When I realised it was the last day today I put everything else on hold whilst I scrapped up this little page :-)
The only rules to this challenge were:
1. Use the following sketch
2. Base it on the theme "It's a ________ thing" where you get to fill in the blanks
3. And use My Mind's Eye products.
How easy is that?
I called mine "It's a Sister Thing" and journalled about how much Munchy sure does love her sister.
She especially loves to pick her up and hug her and carry her around. But we had an incident this week where she thought it would be fun to try and run whilst carrying her sister, and it all ended very badly. Bloody nose and all :-(
Munchy said to me "now I know why you and Daddy tell me not to pick her up" in her little sad voice.
But I know it's all in love.
And she was totally fine once the bleeding stopped ;-)
I've used a bunch of My Mind's Eye products, mainly from the So Sophie range.
PS. I'm drawing a winner for my December giveaway tomorrow, so last chance to get your entries in.
very cute layout and story too. You are runny under the time gun too. It is a busy time of the year.

Great showcase of sisterly love, too bad sometimes it ends up with injuries. Happens a lot with brotherly love too.
ReplyDeleteLOVE this LO. Fabulous as always.
ReplyDeleteGreat take on the sketch, love the title and the cute pics and the journaling (our handwriting is quite similar btw!!!) is great as usual ... you have so many wonderful memories recorded in your albums, I really should do that more often myself! My daughters are 10 and (almost) 9, and the youngest one is till picking up her sister all the time. No incidents so far, but it's like an accident waiting to happen!!!!
