7 Reasons

Maybe it's because I felt a little guilty about doing my November sketch submission for Handmade by Suzanne so late last month, or maybe it's actually because I was so inspired by the December sketch that I've already whipped up this layout :-)

This fabulous sketch was designed by one of my co-DT members Liz Weber. At first glance it may seem unusual and perhaps difficult, but I really believe this has got so much potential that I'm aiming to use it more than once!

For this version I rotated the sketch clockwise by 90 degrees and turned those squares into a series of journalling spots. This sketch was perfect for using up my number cards (paper whimsies) from Sassafras. You get 24 in a pack which makes them extremely good value.... but that's a lot of cards to use up!!

I could only really fit 7 of them comfortably, so hence why this layout became '7 Reasons Why We Love You To Bits' rather than 10, or 12 or 1 million :-)

Some pretty chipboard embellishments for extra detail. I've used my favourite Mix and Mend collection by Sassafras for this layout. I think that probably calls me officially done with this line, since all I've got left is some odds and ends now :-)

So I hope you'll pop on over to Handmade by Suzanne and check out the December sketch challenge. There's a $20 voucher up for grabs to a random player so you've got nothing to lose, and a whole lot of stash cash to gain!!
