Scrap Friends June Sketch

We were delighted to have such a good response to our very first sketch challenge last month at Scrap Friends. 21 entries.... which is making it hard for us to chose a winner! But it will no doubt be announced quite soon ;-)

I told Angela how I'm sure it's because her sketches are so inspiring. I certainly feel like they bring out the best in me creatively. I'm really happy with my layout for this months Sketch Challenge too.

I played around with the idea of actually including the three photos, but in the end went with just the one whilst using journaling spots to represent the other two. But other than that I think I've kept to the sketch fairly literally (I'm not too good at doing it any other way to be honest!)

I really used quite a mixture of my recent current favourite products on this. The new Heidi Swapp stuff is just blowing my mind.... those neon letter stickers are FABULOUS! And I'm having to limit myself not to have used up all my Memory File Photo Captions already (that's the 'Epic' photo mat you see here).

My other new favourite is of course my recent acquisition of piles of Bling!! The deep midnight blue of this FWAB Chloe Pearl Flourish captured my imagination and creates a stunning contrast against the pink and green don't you think?
