Be still my heart

Playing along with Etsy Inspired Challenges again this week.


I chose this felt bowl from Cose Dolci as my inspiration piece. I just love the textures and colours in her creations. I just want to touch them!






So this piece prompted me to make a card. Just a simple design, and very much lifted straight from the inspiration. See for yourself...

I just layered some of those little Kaisercraft flowers and stitched them in place. Topped it off with a cute little Martha Stewart ribbon.

I'm thinking about adding a sentiment across the top. I just don't know what I want it to say yet (or how I might go about doing it). I wish I had the forward-thinking ability so that I put my card through the typewriter first and I could type my sentiment on. Oh well. Next time :)
