Jolly June Yellow Challenge with Your Choice of Prize!!

So this month for my giveaway I thought I would add a little twist.

June is the first month of winter for us Aussies. I'm not a huge fan of winter. Forget the cold toes, sniffles, frosted windscreens, frozen fingers, seeing your own breath in the air....... give me the hot summer days anytime! So I choose to ignore winter and focus on something a bit more reminiscent of warmer weather.

The Challenge:
I challenge you to make me forget about the blues and greys of winter, and show me something yellow.

I want you to create something (absolutely anything!!) with yellow as a feature colour.

It could be a layout, a card, a dress, a canvas, jewellery, a home decor item....... wherever your imagination takes you. I don't care if you make this for someone else's challenge (as long as they don't mind) or if it's just for you.

The Prize:
It seemed you enjoyed the May Madness giveaway where you got to go "shopping" for your prize. So along similar lines this month I'm giving you a choice :-)

If you should win you will get to choose your own prize out of the following:

1. The Paper Prize

Consists of 10 sheets of quality paper from Basic Grey and Kaisercraft. If you choose this prize, I'm sure there will be a few extras thrown in for good measure!

2. The Stamp Prize

Totally new, in packet, never opened, new release set of rubber stamps by Rupa Shevde for Gina K Designs called "Retro Boutique"

3. The Embellishment Prize

Lots of goodies in this one: 3 packets of dimensional embellishments by 'Made for you', 1 packet of Making Memories Glitter Bling stickers, 1 packet of funky addons made from handmade paper, 1 packet of baby card captions, 1 packet of American Crafts spring and summer rub-ons (a couple missing I'm afraid) and over 35 pieces of coloured chipboard by American Crafts, Heidi Swapp and Bella! plus other matching embellishments like buttons, stickers, tags etc.

4. The Vintage Mixed Media Prize

This photo is from my April giveaway to give you an idea of what will be in it. If you choose this prize you should go here to see more photos of what the prize will be similar too (it will not be exactly the same as these photos). But it will include such things as fabric, ribbon, doilies, buttons, vintage findings, beads, tags and other materials to use on something like a mixed-media collage.

The Rules:
Post your creation on your blog with a link back to this post and/or my blog by the end of June.
Leave a link to your creation at the end of this blog post so I can see it!!
Tell me in your comment which one of the 4 prizes you would choose if you were the winner :-)

I will be showcasing the entries on my blog as we go along, and will be sharing some of my own creations featuring yellow too.

I hope you'll play along with me. I think it will be fun!!!

:-)

PS. Yes this is open internationally!

  4. I had to get right on it! My LOs are pretty simple so it was easy to do this quickly! If I would be lucky enough to win, I'd choose the The Vintage Mixed Media Prize since I don't have a lot of vintage! Thanks for the challenge and a chance to win! http://kmassman-scrapbooks-cards.blogspot.com/2010/06/you-rock-in-yellow.html
