I love what I do

My next JBS layout came about through inspiration from this poster on Pinterest. I loved the symmetry through reflection, and copied that idea straight onto my layout :-)

Thank goodness for my Silhouette which made the job of cutting my title a very simple matter of merely chosing which fonts I wanted.

I focused on all the bright happy colours of the Bella Bvd products from the Mini-Album kit. They matched the blue of my scrubs and the pink of the surgical soap in my photos. Yes, I know - another work related layout. Sorry about that! But it obviously makes up a huge amount of my day to day life so I've got plenty to say about it ;-)

My job can be pretty difficult at times. Angry patients, long hours, unpaid overtime, high stress environments, time away from my family. But it's also highly satisfying and rewarding. What a privilege to help bring a baby into the world and to share that life-changing moment with a family. I do love what I do.... and I know there's no other job in the world I would rather be doing.

  1. Having just become a Ma for the first time & getting a taste of maternity wards, neonatal etc....all I can say is 'hats off you you', Natalie:):) Are you sending this to SBM? I noticed they've got a call out for work related pages:):)

  2. Hi Natalie! i just received my prize from you!!! Thank you so much!!! This goods are so great!! And thanks for extras!

  3. Natalie I have such admiration for the work you do, I've been in attendance as a support person for five births (all boys) and it can get quite stressful and yet so very rewarding once mum holds her newborn. Well done to you and I believe the pay should be increased for all hospital staff, teachers and protective services.

  4. Great page Natalie - I really love your work! The symmetry idea works so well on this page!

Thanks for visiting my blog today. Come back again soon :-)
