The Story of the Most Wonderful Time of the Year

It's true - I do feel that way about Christmas. I love this season! I love it first and foremost because of it's meaning as the cornerstone of my faith. "For unto us a child is born, unto us a Son is given. And the government shall be upon His shoulders. And His name shall be Wonderful, Counselor, The Mighty God, The Prince of Peace" (Isaiah 9:6)


And I love it because it (generally) means time to spend with friends and family celebrating the occasion and catching up on the year. Although don't ask me what I'm working over the Christmas break this year because I don't even want to think about it :-(


One thing I don't really do is spend a lot of time in the scrap-room. It's usually much too busy for that. And once the New Year hits I guess I kinda move on. So what that means is that I'm always scrapping my Christmas photos a year behind! I've recently even taken the plunge and started my 2011 not-quite-a-December Daily! I'm going to be sharing some of that with you real soon.


But my first Christmas project for the year was this layout which also became my very first JBS blog-post as an Ambassador. You can read what I wrote about my design process over on the blog here. I was pretty excited and nervous to see what the response would be :-) So far, so good!


And speaking of exciting and amazing DT news (making reference to the hints in my recent blog post).... I am proud to announce that next year I'm going to be joining the first Evalicious Design Team!! Yay!! Check out the announcement and who else is on the team here. I can't wait to work alongside these talented ladies and to further feed my flair addiction!

    Nope, not talking to you anymore, Ms Elphinstone. How DARE you go & get yourself on the Evalicious team? Can I come & rip your eyes out so's they have to choose MOI????!!!! I didn't even know there WAS one....oooooohhhhhh...I'm soooo jealous you can't even begin to imagine. WOOOOOOWwWWWWw....now I've got that outta my system....HUGE, ENORMOUS, MASSIVELY HUGGINGSLY congratulations...you're just perfect for their stuff & I know you'll do 'em proud. I may even just forgive you since I must agree with you that 'Jesus is the Reason for the Season':):):)!!!!!!!!!
    Oh, & BTW - LOVE your LO...it has such an ozzie feel about it...dunno why - just does. Lovely:):)
