Not anymore thanks to this month's sketch from Stuck Sketches. I used it in order to finish my other April page for A Year in the Chair album (see the post below for the first one).
I rotated the sketch 90 degrees clockwise, and used the clock embellishment to represent the circle from the sketch. It's probably easiest if I show you the original sketch hey?!
Again I've used The Girl's Paperie so there will be uniformity in my album (obsessive much?)
You get so many embellishments in the packet that even after I layered all of these here I've hardly made a dent!
I added all my journaling about the things Moodle did and achieved in April into the Maya Road envelope. As much as I love to journal, and have no problem covering my pages with it, sometimes it's easier just to hide it all away - mainly because I wrote a whole page worth!
Thanks everyone for all the kind comments you keep leaving me. I certainly do read and cherish every one of them.
xx
Fantastic take on the sketch! Love the little clock :-). Thanks for playing along at Stuck sketches :-)
ReplyDeleteI totally giggled when you said you were using the same line for uniformity- I have a tough time doing less than double spreads if the pages won't 'match'!!! I'm sure that doesn't qualify as obsessive. right? right?!!!!
ReplyDeleteThis is SO pretty- I LOVE all the layering & details! :)
AND...I had very happy mail from Australia today!!! Thank you so very much for all the fun goodies! I'm hoping to get to play tomorrow- I'll put those new treasures to use!!! :)
So pretty and soft, and your complete album will be a work of art for sure. Love those little birdies in the corner too, are they a punch? Looks like they are watching after your little one. I too received some mail from Australia (my first international mail EVER!) and it was so very exciting. I had to open them up straight a way and create! Thanks so much again!
ReplyDeleteso lovely Natalie those colours you have used are just lovely, thanks for playing at stuck

ReplyDeleteAs always I'm totally impressed by your eye for detail ... your finishing touches are awesome. I love it, and I'm sure this album is going to be a real treasure. I wish I had written down more when the kids were little...
