Oh my gosh I am so happy to report to you all that I've been asked to join the Design Team of a new sketch challenge blog called Once Upon a Sketch. Wooo hoo!!
I'm excited about this for lots of reasons. For a start I love sketches. They just take a lot of the guesswork out of designing a page. Makes it so much easier don't you think. And of course, a sketch doesn't mean that you have to follow it to the letter, it's there as a guide which allows lots of room for interpretation.
But what's even more exciting for me is that this sketch challenge will have a twist. We're really going to put the focus back on journaling in our layouts. I know for many of us we got into scrapbooking for the purpose of recording the memories, but we seem to forget that sometimes. We often get scared of including journaling because we don't like our handwriting, or it won't suit the design of the page, or we run out of room etc. But I wholeheartedly agree that every page we do should include some kind of journaling, and you'll see that on the vast majority of my layouts.
Now lets get to the giveaway you say! Here's what you can win right now before we even post a challenge...
